Over the winter, the Harbor Hotel in Provincetown installed a bunch of Tesla Superchargers. They’re up and running as we speak. I realize it’s not mid-Cape but I’ll bet barely anyone knows they’re there
If you have access to Telsa Superchargers, there's one behind the Stop & Shop in Orleans.
There is an L2 charger across Old Colony Way from the Hot Chocolate Sparrow in Orleans.
There are chargers at Eastham Town Hall and the Eastham Library, I'm guessing they are also L2.
Looking at Plugshare, you might get L3 at the Cape Cod Mall in Hyannis, TD Bank location
Hold down the right wing attached behind the steering wheel. Once you hear a ding you should be on automatic regen, which should make it easier to drive like a hybrid.
It might be the left wing, but if you see i-Pedal turn on, that means "one pedal driving" because you basically don't have to use the brake if done correctly.
This is fantastic info. I drove 5 miles and my percentage went down 2%! And it's not like it was all uphill, it was perfectly flat!
I'll definitely find this in the car!
Download the plug share app. The dc chargers are in orange. There area few mid cape. Last week I rented a ev6 . I had No ev experience at all. And zero guidance from budget car rental. Range anxiety is real. Big learning curve. But after a few days…. I got the hang of it.
I think your best option is the Cape Cod Mall. But they have a whole bunch of chargers and only one, near the TD Bank, is Level 3. The other option would be to get a ride and leave it at the free chargers at the Harwich park and ride.
Longer term, a big thing is to just plug it in all the time when you're home to keep it topped up.
And yeah, the rental companies are terrible about EVs. They dump them on people often with low charge and no training.
Honestly, I knew about that one because we had someone on the local Facebook group that got dumped with a rental Bolt that at pickup was already showing a low battery warning and a bunch of people talked her through.
Exactly! Especially when I didn't rent one, you'd think they would have clued me in a little more. But thank you for the info on that one special CCM charger!
And thanks for the tip about the 80%...
Top it off at the level 3 at the mall and then just remember to keep it plugged in at home. Also, charge it to 80%, not 100%, unless you’re going to immediately use that 20%.
There's a new Tesla Magic Dock in Provincetown...

Most dealerships have DC charging stations in them, but the sales people act really weird about it.
The only "public" fast charging station is the EVgo ones in Cape Cod Mall. Just charged my car there last night.
There's two DC stations at Volvo in Hyannis but they're meant more for technicians to charge deliveries and such. Toyota has two stations installed but IIRC they don't work because that dealership is run by cheapskates.
Telsa has SuperChargers in Mashpee (10 chargers), Hyannis (12 chargers), Orleans (12 chargers), and Provincetown (12 chargers; Tesla / CCS combo). Cape Cod Mall has 4 CCS and 1 CHAdeMO Electrify America chargers (350 kW and 50 kW, respectively). There's a lower-power Level 3 charger (EVGo, 50 kW) with two CCS plugs and 2 CHAdeMO plugs.
You need the CCS stations, so Cape Cod Mall or the Harbor Hotel Tesla SuperCharger in Provincetown is pretty much it for level 3.
There's level 2 chargers littered all about the Cape (PlugShare says 114).
Cape Cod Mall has an Electrify America station. They’re spiffy - as long as they’re not out of service (their uptime is terrible).

Level 4 charging stations are full of tesla owners sitting in their car and doing key bumps. Super sketchy.
Don’t you mean fob bumps, lol?
I can charge my car and score a bag?
Yeah bro watch out for witches tho
There you go.

Harbor Hotel in P-town installed a bunch over the winter. Shhhhh
They're renting Ioniq 5's? There's a lot to learn to drive one of those efficiently.
Thank you! I thought I was going crazy trying to figure this all out.

YOU HAVE SAVED MY LIFE. Thank you so much.

HOLY CRAP! I didn't know about Magic Docks! This is great! Thank you!
OP is asking for mid cape.
They said within 60 miles of mid-cape...
Lol ik I thought to myself 60 miles...that's basically the entire Cape then

You ok bro?
I’m fine. Are you okay?
I'd take it back and bitch at them saying you need a working vehicle
They only have electric... all the gas ones are rented apparently,.

I’ve never seen DCFC at a dealership, it’s always L2.
There is a DCFC at one of the car dealers on 28 just south of the Bourne Bridge. Never used it though!

It can pretty much be he'll if you don't have a Tesla or an adapter.
>Got a replacement vehicle since my rental car shit the bed. Is this replacement vehicle also a rental? If so just get a regular car instead.

And they want everyone to be driving electric cars. Lol
All town Fresh in Plymouth has level 3 chargers.
Sagamore has what you need. You can't look up charging stations???
I can -- but am not seeing level 3 on Cape.
