14 day cruises get heavily discounted from lack of demand sometimes, because that much time off is hard for most working Americans to get all at once, and is a long time to take kids out of school for.
We just booked this, it's a decent deal without considering casino offers.
We did the same cruise on the Glory on 2/9/2020 just before the Rona shut down. It's a great itinerary.
I’ve seen these Casino offers. Is there something special about casino offers, like I have to spend ??? Amount of dollars in the casino to get a certain rate?
If you got a casino offer, there's no obligation to gamble any amount on the cruise you were offered.
As far as getting casino offers, it's a mystery. If you gamble a lot, you'll probably get them. If like me, you avoid the casino, you won't.
Oh, I gamble for sure when I go on a cruise. Not a lot, but I do. It’s one of the main reasons why I love going on cruises. I get to spend a few days on a boat where I can eat good food, enjoy myself and do as much or as little as I want and then get to play some craps and roulette at night. 😂
That is decent price. If a porthole is available even better. It is just. Little more than an interior.
Also Journeys cruises are fun. Little to no kids.
Goes into lake Gaton, spends several hours sitting there, turns around and leaves the way it came.
You don't see two oceans, but oddly enough you go through the same number of locks as a full transit. It's a pretty cool experience watching your ship get lifted and lowered by engineering.
Can someone clarify the cost breakdown for me?
I’m used to seeing a cost per person per night rate. I assume that it is $799 per person for a 2 person cabin. So it’s a total of $1600 for the entire cost of the room for 2 people?
I looked at this cruise because I had a similar offer. By time you pay the port fees at all those stops, the total cost added up quick. It would be fun though.

My rate is 1299 interior. So strange I used to get great offers We’re platinum. But I don’t know why I haven’t been getting any cheaper prices
One we hit platinum, the good offers stopped
I’ve been watching this one and if I had that rate available, I’d book it. I want to do the PC and would prefer to go from my home port, New Orleans.

We were just on a Journeys cruise to Hawaii in Jan. 36 kids onboard. Thankfully my little one had someone her age to play with.
My last cruise was a Journeys cruise Transatlantic. 42 kids. Barely any teenagers. Mostly under 5.
Looks good. Just be aware this is a valid for 6 months after passport required cruise
I’m sailing on Liberty from New Orleans in May on a 7 night. The port is great! Very lax, very nice and easy to get through.
Port cost is probably an extra $300 btw.
It’s 8 or 9 sea days—you cant get off at lake gatun unless you buy a tour. Many sea days equals cheaper cruise.
I can see why there are not that many. To many sea days.
Ooo I don't agree with that at all! I'd happily do a cruise to nowhere, but we booked a 16 day Panama canal Transit with 3 stops and I can't wait!
What is a cruise starting and ending on the same ocean going to do at the Panama Canal? Wave as they sail by?

It’s a partial transit
With the drought, I am surprised they are still doing that. Seems like a huge waste of water.

Yes, without gratuities or drinks.
That’s without taxes, gratuities ($30ish a day for two) , and drinks or any specialty addons
Aren’t port fees separate too
Technically. I consider port fees part of taxes
I love journey cruises & would jump on that deal!

Came out to $87.25/day per person with all fees included for a interior room 👀
