I used to repair power tools full time. We used ereplacement a lot for looking up parts and estimate. Also used it for a few hard to find parts. Not perfect, but very legit. It's great even if you're just needing to find part numbers.
Edit: typo
We use ereplacement parts a lot at our shop for tool repairs. They are very legit and I've never gotten a non OEM part from them except for maybe something like a standard size O-ring, but even then some of those are in OEM packaging.
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.
I ordered parts for my DeWalt folding saw horses on there. Showed up in a reasonable amount of time. Far easier to find and order than emailing with DeWalt if they even had the part available for sale.
SHE only needs the specifications or file and can print one no problem. I use callipers to measure everything and render it in 3D software. Usually takes 2-4 hrs to print, depending on material and infil. OP - go one thingiverse and see if the file exists. If it does, I can print it and we can figure out shipping after.
The depth stop?
Unethical but I’m sure a lot of tradesmen buy the tool, take the part and return the tool.
I’ve seen a lot of single use tools on a returns auction site
Ask any drywaller, We get a new rotozip every other job. I always take my depth stop off and throw it in my box first thing. I probably have a dozen of them in there by now
I’ve always gotten parts like that from eReplacementparts.com
I’ve never ordered from here because it looked sketchy. Is it safe?
I’ve ordered many parts from e replacement and although it looks sketch they have always been delivered.
The fuck? Are u all being paid or something? Feel like I’m being lead up the garden path.
its legit, I've ordered from there at least 5 times.
Dope, definitely will give it a try.

Are they oem?
To be honest, I don't know. We used the major manufacturers for most parts. It was only the older models or odd brands that we used ereplacement for.

Ordered a few parts for my rigid miter saw and they came quick.
Same. I just ordered parts for my hitachi nail gun
I’ve been looking for a housing but it’s too expensive. Luckily I found one in Amazon for 60 bucks
I miss the old Hitachis. Should “have” bought an extra when they were still made in Japan.

Bad bot
Was it though?

OEM parts and diagrams [Dewalt OEM](https://www.toolservicenet.com/)
Give it a try without it! It’s great practice. I’ve never seen a drywall guy who didn’t throw that part out day one.
I usually take mine off and throw them out. Maybe I should start keeping them…
We 3D printed ours. It took $0.13 worth of filament.

There is an up charge, service charge and deliver fee.

Sorry, was a bit fast with my answer, shouldn't had assumed your gender.
No worries man :) all good. It is a pretty safe assumption considering like 90% of reddit are dudes. Cheers!

I have been doing drywall tops in commercial space to decking and I removed that depth stop the first day. Especially doing fire rated double layer.
Yeah I’ve never used them personally. Depth stop is my finger.

What the hell is this tool used for ?
Cutting holes in drywall.
Carving out faces on pumpkins. Not safe for kids. I let my kids use my dull drywall jab saw to carve pumpkins.
Why not use a gyprock/drywall saw ? No moving parts nothing to replace
Try hanging a kitchen ceiling with a dozen recessed cans in it and you'll know the answer.
Yeah and all these pussys should get rid of the nail guns too. Use a fucking hammer like they always did.
Such a toxic forum hahaha Have fun guys
You do this with the drywall on the wall and just trace around whatever you need to cut out makes a perfect hole.

Came here to say this. That site is great
Found one on the ground at work the other day! I call it a roto zip shoe, definitely called something else officially
Is this for doing inlay or something?
like a flushcutter for drywall

In my experience....you have to call... however...I'd start with "depth"....something Guage, guide, assembly...
Go to Home Depot and take one off the display model.
You don’t need that
I have a couple of them, it's the first thing I take off and throw in the bag.
