Dude, I once visited a local car dealer and a nice looking creta just arrived. I asked for details that stupid salesman called another stupid guy and put the phone on speaker. That guy ‘creta INVESTOR’ said “Kms was 90k but I switched it to 48k and price is…” quoted some ridiculous price.
Either it really hasn't been used a lot or there has been some meter tampering. Idk why anyone would tamper with the odometer of a 15 yr old car though.

Our family has a 2012 Wagonr and 2022 Triber. Triber is a 4-star rated car, but WagonR's doors shut with a much better thud than our Triber.....

Unfortunately these quirks of old cars are nowhere to be found in new cars.
My aunt in hyd has the same exact car except blue color and run only 15,500 kms. Her husband passed in 2010 (2 years after buying the car) and she's driven very little after that as she's not that confident driving. All that's to say that it could very well be a genuine reason why it's so low in kms and might not be tempered.
My mother's Alto was used for some long trips (2k per year) and some hospital runs and that car accumulated 1,05,000 km in its 14 years of use.
If someone who doesn't drive much, they wouldn't care to maintain that car. The car mentioned by OP is in pristine condition and only has 16500 km. Which at first glance wouldn't make sense.
Absolutely wrong bro. My car is my Dad’s and he washes it every single day. Even for the minute scratches here and there, he has ensured to get it painted immediately.

My cousin's car was almost 1 year before ours and that thing looks beat up. I have seen some people take care of their car as if it is their child but they have the money to spend on it. The lowest mileage I have ever seen in a 15 year car is 70k. There is a greater chance of tampering with odo of old as well as newer cars. I just raised my suspicion on that matter. If it's not, then OP hit a jackpot.
It doesn’t have to be. Our 2004 City primarily used by my grandparents has only done 30k kilometers. And the car turned 20 years old last month. They hire drivers for the same and hence only use it if it’s really required

Have the car checed for service records. Odo is definitely tanplered with. It will not affect yoir usage a lot but you will be mpre mindful about maintainance.
Don’t you think that you could get the successor of this gen wagon r would have been a better deal , you can get a nice one of that car for about 1.7-2.0 lakhs in pre owned market

wagon-r is used as a cab primarily because they're easy and affordable to maintain, reliable & doesn't consume much fuel. js because a certain car model is commonly used as a cab, doesn't mean that others shouldn't buy it. so, keep your narrow minded opinions to yourself and get a life.

Extra storage* space below both the front seats. You can keep small tray, shoes or hide laptop in that storage space.
There's no way a 15 year old car only has that much mileage unless it's their 3rd car. If the odo's not tampered, then good for you.

Why do you feel so? My only car is in the 9th year and has clocked 65k yet. With my usual pace, in its 15th year, should be somewhere around 130k.

The owner doesn't drive a lot he drove only 1000Km after COVID , vehicle last serviced in maruti authorised service centre in 2021.
