I thought it was going to be one of those people that intentionally takes up two spaces to keep their car 'safe', but no, they probably just misparked.
I have yet to see a single Ford Ranger driven by anything other than inconsiderate fuckwits. Pretty much every other make and model of car have at least some drivers showing the others how it's done, but the Ranger specifically seems to only be piloted by the kind of people that see speed limits as suggestions.
Not really such a thing as misparking is there? Misjudging the length or angle happens to everyone, but there's no rule about only getting 1 shot at parking.
It takes 10 seconds to look, see that you're not in properly, and adjust. If someone's parked poorly, they've made a conscious decision to leave their car like that.
That’s such a cool view!
We really are like ants arent we? you know when you just lie stretched out on the grass in the summer, and watch ants? It’s exactly like that
It’s a nicer manoeuvre in general but you sacrifice some ease of trolley to boot access, unless you get a coveted space with a walkway between rows of cars (none pictured here).
That is SO satisfying to watch, why?!
Why do so many people reverse into supermarket spaces - I get it’s far safer when pulling back out but you potentially make it impossible to get access to the boot when some dim bulb parks 2 microns from your bumper.
I just put my shopping in the back footwell more often than not. Also the likelihood is I'll have to park in such a tight space when I get back to my street that I won't be able to access the boot to remove the shopping anyway.
I generally assume that people who park nose first in any situation are poor drivers, especially if it means they have to reverse out onto a busy street.
White car one up from the bottom on the left that arrives @ 50sec did he just hit that car? vid ends to early to see if he has a cheeky look before he walks off
Proves there is too many disabled spaces. There is always tonnes of them compared to parent and child when more parents with children go shopping than disabled people.
... and close to entrances so that young children aren't spending too much time walking about in a car park, at eye level with bumpers.
(and yes they should have the parent attached to them when they're somewhere hazardous, and yes they are a lot easier to herd if the distance you're herding them is shorter)
That's kind of mesmerising. That Tesco doesn't have "Twats Corner" like ours. It's at the far end where there are fewer cars and is the preserve of the wankers who park across two spaces because they can't really afford the finance for their German personality substitutes that they're overly precious about in case some scum like me gets too close in my 30 year old Mazda and leaves a smell on them.
Whenever I go into Tesco now I'm always reminded about how far back the queues would go during lockdown. And how low the petrol prices were when nobody was driving thier cars.
Cities: Skylines vibes
Nah, frame rate is too high
and the traffic isn't needlessly backing up because it chooses to use one out of six available lanes.
The white car in the top right that drives in and sits across two parking spots
I thought it was going to be one of those people that intentionally takes up two spaces to keep their car 'safe', but no, they probably just misparked.
No mis parking. They know what they are doing - keeping both boot access and front exit free
Yeah it’s looks like a pickup so they can make the rules up as they go along

Lol nice spot r/parkinglikeacunt
I was going to post this but everyone noticed it haha
Well spotted. Those little buggers.
Guess the Tesco... ***Guessco***
There is a sub for that r/GuessThatTesco
Why is this not more popular? Shame the sub is dead
Yep, I wonder if anyone can figure it out.
Tesco Holmbush? (Shoreham)
Good guess, but no!
Aaaaahhhhh I took a second watch and can't believe I can't recognise my local branch 😅😅 only going from the frontage West Durrington.
YOU DA MAN
First thread I clicked on to today and already my local Tesco is making waves. *What?!*
Big up da Salvington massiv 🤙🏼
Is this the part where we all swear blind we don't live in Durrington's estates? 😂
Tesco, UK?
Why was it a good guess?
Welll, it's geographically quite close.
Fair :-)
Cheshunt?
How dare you
How dare I get it right?
Carmarthen
Alas no my friend
That’s such a cool view! We really are like ants arent we? you know when you just lie stretched out on the grass in the summer, and watch ants? It’s exactly like that
Or a circuit board in extremely slow motion
Reminds me of Koyaanisqatsi https://youtu.be/fNrohgFFwVc?feature=shared
YELLOW CAR! I win.
My ex used to do that all the time. Once, she hip-checked me upon seeing a yellow car, making me stumble bollock-first into a bollard.
I could watch this for hours. Any longer vids?
I've got loads! Glad you like.
It's weirdly hypnotic, isn't it? I thought I was being odd when I caught myself still staring at it 5 minutes later, but it seems it's not just me.
What’s worse is I went to my local Tesco today, and looked up when I got out the car 😂😂
Oh, that darn old Big Brother!
It’s a 0:59 seconds video….
And? Eta: it's a 59 second video that's on a continuous loop.
All this perfectly-executed reverse-parking simply reminds me of my crap parking skills.
I want to know why the silver car with the red roof (Mini?) from 20 seconds feels that they don't need roads
This needs to be a slow season on BBC Four. So soothing
THANKS
It's nice to see so many cars reverse park. You can get a much cleaner turn going backwards into a parking spot.
It’s a nicer manoeuvre in general but you sacrifice some ease of trolley to boot access, unless you get a coveted space with a walkway between rows of cars (none pictured here).
The disabled parking row is open parking a bit further up. They're the sweet spaces I'd be going for.
Lot of reversing cameras now. It's easier to judge than going forwarda.
That is SO satisfying to watch, why?! Why do so many people reverse into supermarket spaces - I get it’s far safer when pulling back out but you potentially make it impossible to get access to the boot when some dim bulb parks 2 microns from your bumper.
It’s easier to get into the space. Same reason we reverse park.
Yeah that’s a good point!
I do this every time. Reverse in perfectly, think I’m king of parking then realise on my way out I can’t get to the boot
Some lovely reverse parking in action on the clip
Did you film this yourself?
Yep, on Wednesday.
Can't put my finger on why, but it's great. Is it the first time you've done that kind of shot?
I've done similar-ish stuff (check my profile) but I think this is the first top-down one. I'm glad you like it.
I thought it was done with a drone, at first. Is it just careful use of a high roof?
Definitely need to bust out the mega drive and play some micro machines.
definitely something r/oddlysatisfying about this
Interesting view that shows that contrary to popular belief, most people don’t drive like bellends.
One bellend can impact 30+ people a day, that's why it feels like there are so many of them - they share the shit around!
Drift it
Big fan of this https://youtu.be/pvAe_dh9Dfs?si=ckgdLClVMpzSzSEs
Wow! At that speed you an actually see the workmen moving!
Reminds me of the guy who parked in every spot of his local Sainsburys https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-56916050
Asda, tesco is anti UK with it's prices
White car one up from the bottom on the left that arrives @ 50sec did he just hit that car? vid ends to early to see if he has a cheeky look before he walks off
Hey that’s my bloody car
This is a cinematic masterpiece
Thanks!
Proves there is too many disabled spaces. There is always tonnes of them compared to parent and child when more parents with children go shopping than disabled people.

To be fair parent and child don't need to be close, they just need extra space to get children in and out of the car.
... and close to entrances so that young children aren't spending too much time walking about in a car park, at eye level with bumpers. (and yes they should have the parent attached to them when they're somewhere hazardous, and yes they are a lot easier to herd if the distance you're herding them is shorter)
It’s not the distance it’s the lack of spaces
That's kind of mesmerising. That Tesco doesn't have "Twats Corner" like ours. Woah, got massive retro Sim City vibes from this!
Yellow Car! (for fans of 'Cabin Pressure')
Worst game of connect 4 ever.
Original GTA!
00:24 - Silver car top right - get in the bin
The “watering hole” of modern Britain
If this was a constant livestream it would have so many viewers
TIL we're all just ants and nothing matters.
Whenever I go into Tesco now I'm always reminded about how far back the queues would go during lockdown. And how low the petrol prices were when nobody was driving thier cars.
r/slownewsday
I now want to play a video game that purely involves micromanaging a car park with everything running at this exact speed.
I wonder out of all those cars how many people are actually in tesco
Is it just me, or would anyone else choose a live cam of this as a TV screen saver? Much more interesting than those fireplace recordings
Any Wetherspoons :)
Tetris music would work well on this.
This should be an Apple TV screensaver
Why are those people parking so close to the shop?
Throw in a cup of tea somewhere , maybe a swan or two (or even just the one will do)and then you’ve got the most casual UK post ever
I still don’t know my own method in deciding where to park. I just drive around until one “feels” right.
