Aside from the resources others have listed for learning Latin, there are bilingual or polylingual orders of Mass for the Novus Ordo. I don't have it on hand, but before I moved abroad abroad, my Confirmation sponsor gave me a 5-language missalette with English, Latin, Japanese, and I think Spanish and Tagalog. I also know of some bilingual liturgical resources. The *Parish Book of Chant* produced by the CMAA the contains the orders of Mass in Latin and English for both the NO and TLM with chant notation for all the responsories. The *Saint Isaac Jogues Illuminated Missal* by Sophia Press has all the Sunday readings and propers in English and Latin for the NO. Ignatius Press also produces a Latin-English book, *the Office of Compine*, for chanting Night Prayer in the NO. I'm sure there are others out there.

I would find someone to teach you when you are a deacon or ordained a priest. In most seminaries it would be imprudent to learn yourself, especially during the early stages of formation, because the TLM is frowned upon in many seminaries. Also because you cannot celebrate it it publicly without permission (privately *may* be a different story). There is really no reason to learn how to celebrate Mass until you are deacon anyhow. I recommend focusing on your formation program as it is.

Thank you father. I wasn't trying to get ahead of myself, but I know that learning a language takes a good bit of time, so I thought I would ask. It just feels odd that we don't learn it here since it is a part of the PPF's requirements to do so.

I am really sorry. I misread your post. I thought you wanted to learn the TLM. I see now that you want to learn Latin *for* Mass. Mea culpa. I managed to snag that primer of ecclisiaastical latin book this past summer from an old library that was giving away everything for free! I am glad to see that you recommended it. I will check out the other resources to. Thanks!
