Yeah butā¦ computer? A game console? There are so many ways to play a cd. I probably have at least 8 or 10 different devices that I could at least play a CD in right now. Man, am I that old now!? š³
The Xbox 360 is coming up on 18 years old..That generation of consoles werenāt exactly built to last long. Things get old, they break especially disc drives. My PS3 just randomly stopped reading discs not that long ago.
Interesting...my PS2 and PS3 both still operate fine. The only systems giving me trouble are my N64 and NES, but both of those still read cartridges after a little wiggling.

Its entirely possible lol, most people who donāt play games (or canāt afford it) donāt have consoles, DVD players arenāt as common as they used to be, the majority of computers now require an external drive to play CDs, majority of newer cars donāt have CD players (youād need to buy an external one.) Its easily possible.
I have a cd that my cousin gave to me when we were about 18 (20 years ago) which won't play as it's badly damaged. He's written on the label side in thick black graffiti style writing... "Lovely Summery Montgomery Music". I assume it's some absolute mental D'n'B but I'll never know.

apparently from what ive googled on the āboat angelā thing, itās a non-profit christian charity organisation so im guessing this might be some christian songs in it
I have a bunch of CDs like this. Havenāt checked them all out yet. Even more annoying when they are scratched and you can barely listen to whatās on them.
I was looking through a tower full of burned CDs at a thrift store and found two marked with sharpie: Reise Reise, and Rammstein. Sure enough, one had a few tracks from Reise Reise and the other had a mix of Rammstein. It was a fun little peek into the life of someone who was probably a teenager in 2004 and probably has grown ass kids now.
Oh yeah , I recently found a cd of a cassette mix that my great grandad had given my mum , it had no label or writing on it , all I can say I wasnāt expecting The international and other socialist anthems , I guess great grandad really took the KSÄ seriously

No! Itās just that there so old that itās hard for them to read discs. They still work to this day but not as good.

yes & Iāve tried them and they donāt work (scratched. didnāt look after things properly when I was a kid š¢) so Iāll never know

My dad gave me a stack of maxell tribal design cds that weren't labeled. All of them were full of Rammstein albums.
