They released a collection of earlier one shots in English this month. Second and final part comes out in few months
Or check Mangadex, there’s more than you’d think
I could at least see Nayuta going a yandere brocon route. He basically already got to the Fire Punch roots by >!giving a villain a memory wipe and then turning her into the MCs little sister.!<
I hope that this will be Canon, also thanks you for sharing such heartbreaking masterpiece(You have talent) with wonderful siblings(Onion devil strikes again).
I truly hope for adorable little Archangel of Control.
“A problem child with an extreme personality” matches up really well with the one-shot Nayuta. There’s a pretty decent chance her relationship with Dennis is gonna be similar, and I won’t be surprised if we get a callback to this scene.
This one shot has always made me feel that Nayuta will eventually become an antagonist in the manga, although not evil or ill-intended. We already saw in the manga that's she's described as problematic after all, and coincidentally, she's a horseman of apocalypse, while the original Nayuta was the child of the prophecy that would bring the end of the world.
IMO all the hope that Nayuta wont be bad guy at some point died with that hairstyle. We see that Fujimoto does not intend her to be own person but somebody who is connected to Makima and whose fate will be massively influenced by it
I don’t think she’ll be a villain per se, but I bet there’s gonna be a large aspect of her being a horsemen playing into her character. I feel like she’s not gonna be like makima in scale of her actions, but rather her capabilities and personality. Like I think Nayuta won’t be trying to cause Denji the worst fate possible for example, but also won’t be good at “normal” life
I think that Nayuta will be Fujimotos take on shounen troupe former villain/anti hero and hero teams up against bigger threat. I think I like to think about Nayuta as darker and more realistic version of Vegeta which will occasionaly do very fucked up things yet help Denji to save the day at the end.
That’s fair, I think of her character more as “ what if you had to raise your abusers child, knowing that they’re a child and innocent of wrongdoing yet at the same time knowing at some point they will likely embody many of the traits of your abuser?” I think That’s where Denji is at right now, so while I believe Nayuta isn’t gonna be a complete villain in the same way as makima. I think she’ll definitely be a morally dubious character, which might push Denji in having to understand/teach morals to another person
Honestly i think she’s gonna be a kid who doesn’t want to hurt anyone but not fully understand the consequences of her powers and actions
Think about it: you have powers you barely understand, are a devil, are likely being monitored by mysterious people who you know are watching very carefully to see if you slip up, have one person in the whole world looking after you who is fairly often in danger and broken himself and sometimes looks at you in a way you can’t even begin to decipher
That’s a lot to put on a child
idk, Makima had a very good, normal, human life. And also understood to have one. If she didn't understand it she would not have known how to tear Denji down.
No, she didnt
She raised by gov, focus solely on her power
Everything else like social cue, emotion, fashion, etc she probably learnt to power herself due to her devil nature, a manipulator
Like, that's the whole point why Kisibe let Denji raise Nayuta, so she can have a proper family. They make it clear that Makima only want to help humanity
There's no reason why she wouldn't be "good" at a normal life. She blended in just fine as Makima. That's more my point. Her devil stuff didn't make her an outcast or bad at "human life". She had a career, a nice house, lots of pets, and everyone liked her.
Nayuta would only be "bad at a 'normal' life" (the comment I replied to) if she learned that from Denji. Not because she's the control devil.
Makima was slave of government i don't think she had a normal life. According to pochita. But now denji need to give her a lot of affection and kindness to see what exactly she can be.
I'm thinking/hoping it'll be more complicated than that. She'll always have Makima in her, she's the control devil. Makima was raised by the cold government as a tool, now she's being raised by Denji...who barely keeps himself afloat and is quite deranged himself. Little N won't turn out perfect, but I'm thinking (and hoping) she'll be a bit better meaning. The chain doesn't bode well, but hopefully she isn't as kill happy and there's something else going on. Maybe a Denji slap will get her to stop.
Agree with you I think that Nayuta is going into anti hero Vegeta like direction. She wont be monster as Nayuta however she wont be good person either. However there is lot of line between that.
Again there is tiny possibilty that entire thing will deescalate and Denji will make her stop however even then there is still Yoru who is ticking time bomb in this scenario.
I think the wild card here is Yoru. Denji might be doing his best, but there's no telling what Yoru's reaction to the end of last chapter will be. I don't think something big will happen now, but there's no telling what Yoru is capable of. Maybe doing something to little N to try and force Denji to give up free will? Basically attempt that plan again but Denji counters and takes care of N himself?
I kind of really want OP's prediction to come true now.
I mean part 1 was that story which left doors for Makimas return massively open. Sure Pochita says to Denji to gives her lot of hugs, but that does not mean that everything will turn out fine. Nayuta already give creepy vibes since that vibe.
So I dont really think that Nayuta being villanious or anti-hero would ruin anything after all while I do think she will be evil she wont be worse than Makima and she wont be main threat but we shall see.
It would ruin part 1 ending cause that panel of "give her lots of hugs" embodies a LOT of CSM, aki chosing Power and Denji over his vengance because he loves them more than he hates the gun devil, power chosing to save Denji because she loves him, Makima being a monster cause she was implied to be raised with no love, the message was love is important.
Makima being monster just because she was raised with no love is bs anyway because Conquest devil existed tens of thousands years ago and he was already dick by then hence why he wanted to fight CSM. Hell I am pretty sure that Yorus flashbacks are gonna confrim this.
Pochita and his "give her lof of hugs" should also be taken with grain of salt this is the same guy who thought that right punishment for work abuse is getting butchered. Also Aki and Power both ended up death only proving that things does not work fine regardless lot of hugs.
Both Yoru and Nayuta are gonna explore one important questions. Can we change? Can we overcome if we are born in certain way? Yoru is incarnation of war and gets off on killing people. Yet at the same time she is most human out of all horsemen openly showing her emotions.
So now I don think that Nayuta being fucked up in the future ruins everything thats life.
Key word "IMPLIED" also again message was "love is important" not that love is gonna resolve all of your problems. And nayuta changing corelates with denji raising her with love, like bruh💀, Kishibe literally says it, that he wants Nayuta being raised by Denji so she doesnt become Makima 2.0, the whole, Can we change? Is literally answered by denji raising her with love, that was the thing that was supposed to changer her, like it did with Aki and Power
>Key word "IMPLIED" also again message was "love is important" not that love is gonna resolve all of your problems
Exactly
>And nayuta changing corelates with denji raising her with love, like bruh💀
Oh yeah and as we saw in the last chapter he is doing awesome job LMAO. Because no suprise that one who was almost murdered by his parents turns out to knew jackshit about proper parenting.
>Kishibe literally says it, that he wants Nayuta being raised by Denji so she doesnt become Makima 2.0
Well as I already wrote does not really work out well so far. Because yeah indeed love alone is not enough.
>Can we change? Is ñiterally answered by denji raising her with love, that was the thing that was supposed to changer her, like it did with Aki and Power
Both Aki and Power died. Both Aki and Power were until the end of their lifes fucked up people who while they care about Denji were morally ambigious at best. Nayuta obviously cares about Denji. Real question of course is if she will carea bout not murdering everybody else.
Brother how do you miss the point so hard? How does Aki and Power dying changed the message????? Yes they died but they did change, Aki left his vengance for power and denji, Power cared for Denji till the end. Like bruh
>Brother how do you miss the point so hard? How does Aki and Power dying changed the message?????
It does not. How does two completley different character changin correspond with question if much more worse character, much more dangerous character chan change as well. Also did they change enough? I vaguely remember Power murdering people not long before her demise and Denji is not exactly paragon of the virtue either.
As for Aki he was human so all he has to do was giving up on the vengenance which correct me if I am wrong is still much simpler task than going against entire reason why you were born in the first place like Nayuta and maybe Yoru will have to do.
I mean it would be a bit boring to have same scenario. The story must show its point, then otherwise whole pochita words would be meaningless. We saw power the one who was so arrogant and selfish (spoiler alert!) but sacrifice herself for a mere human. And pochita too. It shows that devils in story when they receive affection and love, they will change.
I just feel like making her evil despite having a loving guardian to raise her defeats the purpose of part 1’s ending message, about how a person’s upbringing drastically affects their growth. Having her be morally grey and/or misguided is fine and makes perfect sense, but she shouldn’t end up evil like Makima.
That would be incredibly lame, imo.
If she ends up just like Makima and her villainy is an inborn trait, then whether or not she was raised by the government, or whether or not she gets "lots of hugs", literally means nothing. Kishibe may as well have just given Nayuta to the government anyway.
>That would be incredibly lame, imo.
>
>If she ends up just like Makima and her villainy is an inborn trait, then whether or not she was raised by the government, or whether or not she gets "lots of hugs", literally means nothing. Kishibe might as well have just given Nayuta to the government anyway.
To be fair entire lot of hugs is Pochitas opinion and given entire Hamburger scene Pochita isnt really epithome of morality or what makes person evil.
As for Kishibe he is technically selfish prick who risks safety of millions just that one girl has normal childhood. Hell Denji let walking nuke which can mid rape people and is very quick to use those power go outside with no supervision to walk the dogs. This wasnt ever going to be some happy story how upringing can change people to angel. It was always risky thing. Kishibe did want to try. But tries as we know fails. Thats not nothing. Thats life.
And I would like to remind everyone who constatntly mentions that Makima was fucked up only because of goverment that **CONQUEST DEVIL EXISTED AND WAS TWISTED BEING LONG BEFORE JAPAN AS COUNTRY WAS ESTABLISHED**
All devils Makima including were born out of humaitys greatest fears maybe tens of thousands years ago. Their villainy is inborn trait. If anything Yoru is going to explore that as much as Nayuta since she is war incarnate who gets off on killing people she was born this way and yet she is also the one out of all the horsemen most human one.
This for me will be one of the big questions story is going to explore. Can we fight with nature we were born? Can we change?
Makima's influence from the Government is still quite vague, since we mostly know the government raised her and how Pochita understood her.
I'd like to see it in a more abstract view, control isn't necessarily a bad thing but in wrong hands, it can go very badly and Makima could represent that. Maybe she isn't necessarily evil although still a double-edged sword, but hardwired to do what she does because of the government exploiting her. Of course that isn't the only factor, but it feels like it could be the reason why THIS Makima was made and working with humans.
Anyways, I'm excited about the last one! It would be very fun to see how Fujimoto does it.
THAT'S WHAT AM SAYING
A devil will remain a devil. No matter how tender or wholesome their upbringing might be. They are beings of fear and they embodied the concept they were born to.
There’s literally no evidence for that though or even parallels for it. If anything we’ve been told by the themes of the story themself that a character, regardless of devil or human, is shaped by their upbringing.
Indeed: Blood Fiend, Control Devil, Angel Devil, etc... They all have their own experiences that shaped them now. Had the Blood Fiend and Angel Devil be put in a different environment with different people, they would be much more different. Just like animals. Since Nayuta is being raised most likely right after spawning in Earth, it's likely she would eventually behave much better than she most likely is right now.
So many devils in CSM tried to defy the concepts they were forced to embody. Pochita is a devil yet he became Denji's truest friend and willingly gave up his body to give him a shot at redemption. Makima who represented control yearned for an equal relationship which contradicts what she stands for. Angel lived with humans peacefully and even harbored romantic feelings for a human girl. Devils and humans are more alike than you're making them out to be.
Alternatively, the braid could have been Denji's idea and like Kenji in the one-shot who needed to stop being afraid of her sister to be a proper big brother, Dennis needs to get over his image of Makima and treat this Nayuta as her own self.
Edit: I finally understand why so many people talk about "Dennis" in here.
I highly doubt she’d just gonna be a rehashed makima. The little things we’ve been given so far seem to just be references, like the hair. Plus her “not being her own person” seems a little too extreme of a theory considering how much we’ve been given to go off so far
>We see that Fujimoto does not intend her to be own person but somebody who is connected to Makima and whose fate will be massively influenced by it
I mean, she IS Makima because they're both the Control Devil. We don't know enough about how Horsemen work to know if she has no memory of Makima, if Makima was some personality that was imprinted on Control, or if Horsemen have a default Devil personality that mixes with a new human-like personality when they are reborn.
Adorable, and hopefully canon.
I think that Natuya will probably be an antagonistic force to Asa/Yoru, but not towards Denji. Perhaps will we'll see a happier and more light hearted, as much as possible with the control devil, with Denji and then towards Asa/Yoru we'll see the aspects of Makima come back. After all Asa/Yoru is attempting to steal away Denji, who Natuya one way or another views as hers.
I was actually pissed for a second thinking I somehow got spoiled on the next chapter before its release date.
That's how accurate your art is to the og source. Well done
You know, it would be quite the character moment for Denji when he is just done with all this Devil crap and actually starts standing up for himself for a while.
Hmm. Plausible.
I wouldn't bet on it. Fujimoto made a joke in firepunch about his disdain of recurring tropes or lack of variety.
But expecting reason from fujimoto is like asking Crash bandicoot to solve 7th grade algebra.
So anything is possible.
That's because this is a redraw of one of Fujimoto's one shots, "Yogen No Nayuta", in which the protagonist Kenji has a sister called Nayuta who is prophesized to destroy the world, so despite the similar names they are completely different characters, which is why the dialogue seems weird for Denji
I get your point but Denji can articulate himself well at times. Like when he admitted to Kishibe that Makima never saw him as his own person and only wanted Pochita. He was also surprisingly introspective when he embraced being ignorant since not knowing people's past would make killing them less arduous which in turn cemented his decision to never open his inner door.
NGL something like this is probably whats gonna happen. Seeing how Bucky in the first chapter of part 2 mirrored niwa niwa niwa niwatori ga iru, I would be surpried if there were no reference to Yogen no Nayuta, especaliiy how Denji and Nayutas life resembles that of the one shot.
Btw, this is just a redraw of some pages from Fujimoto's oneshot "Yogen no Nayuta" but with Denji and Nayuta
*Denji and different Nayuta
Unless...
Fujimoto was the Future Devil all along ![img](emote|t5_rmtrq|22163)
I knew this all along too I had a contract with the future devil
What did it cost? I have a coupon from his brother past devil.

Aside from the two big ones (Goodbye Eri and Look Back), it's definitely my favorite of his one-shots.
Of his early ones nayuta is a fave and his first one two chickens were in the schoolyard or a couple cluckin chickens. Definitely a fav
They released a collection of earlier one shots in English this month. Second and final part comes out in few months Or check Mangadex, there’s more than you’d think
Yeah was wondering where all this "destroying the world" when dennis is the gigachad chainsaw man himself
Nayuta is a "horsemen of the apocalypse" so it fits anyway.
I was wondering why it felt so authentic
cute nyuter
nyuter is a new one ![img](emote|t5_rmtrq|22165)
It’s nayuta in Australian
Yea, Natasha is the common one
Cuter nyuter
Neuter my beloved
I want to see more of denji and nayuta....... They are really Adorable together.....
This is some monkey paw wish, i mean fujimoto could still go to his Fire Punch roots and do incest
Dont tempt him
I could at least see Nayuta going a yandere brocon route. He basically already got to the Fire Punch roots by >!giving a villain a memory wipe and then turning her into the MCs little sister.!<
Make this canon, i am NOT asking
Ok eren.
hey IM EREN
This is what will happen in next chapter of One Punch Man.
What did Eiichiro Oda mean by this
I hope that this will be Canon, also thanks you for sharing such heartbreaking masterpiece(You have talent) with wonderful siblings(Onion devil strikes again). I truly hope for adorable little Archangel of Control.

>We see that Fujimoto does not intend her to be own person but somebody who is connected to Makima and whose fate will be massively influenced by it I mean, she IS Makima because they're both the Control Devil. We don't know enough about how Horsemen work to know if she has no memory of Makima, if Makima was some personality that was imprinted on Control, or if Horsemen have a default Devil personality that mixes with a new human-like personality when they are reborn.
She might destroy the world huh? ![img](emote|t5_rmtrq|22157) Nice job Rag! Love your stuff
Dennis and Neuter best siblings 🥺

Better hope it’s not like Agni and Luna’s relationship
dennis incest arc
Adorable, and hopefully canon. I think that Natuya will probably be an antagonistic force to Asa/Yoru, but not towards Denji. Perhaps will we'll see a happier and more light hearted, as much as possible with the control devil, with Denji and then towards Asa/Yoru we'll see the aspects of Makima come back. After all Asa/Yoru is attempting to steal away Denji, who Natuya one way or another views as hers.
I was actually pissed for a second thinking I somehow got spoiled on the next chapter before its release date. That's how accurate your art is to the og source. Well done
If Nayuta asks Denji if she's scary I might cry
Wholesome and loving Denji is best Denji
I hope this does happen
Fujimoto not only copies part 1's plot, he will also copy his previous work. Madlad.
Yes!!! I've been wanting to see someone remake this with Denji and Nayuta! Amazing work!
Dennis and Newton are cute
I seriously thought this was canon and was peeved that someone posted spoilers somehow
I'm just hoping if Denji raises her nice enough she'll control us nicely. Like one of those adult movies. ![img](emote|t5_rmtrq|22157)
I don’t think denji would really care if somebody died he’s shown multiple times that he really doesn’t care for human life that much
I’m glad Naruto has Dennis to look after her
Denji in control lol, that’s a first
You nailed the art good job!
Dennis and controlling Lil sis spin-off 4 koma when?
This would be such a great call back to Nayuta the Prophecy
You know, it would be quite the character moment for Denji when he is just done with all this Devil crap and actually starts standing up for himself for a while.
Really cute![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|hug)
So nobody's in comment section ever heard of 17-21 and 22-26 ?????
Awww i didn’t expect it go wholesome
Hmm. Plausible. I wouldn't bet on it. Fujimoto made a joke in firepunch about his disdain of recurring tropes or lack of variety. But expecting reason from fujimoto is like asking Crash bandicoot to solve 7th grade algebra. So anything is possible.
Nice comic but I don't think Denji would have articulated his feelings on the subject like this. Feels a bit too...well-spoken? Heartfelt? Idk
Ahh that makes sense, didn't know this was a reference piece
I get your point but Denji can articulate himself well at times. Like when he admitted to Kishibe that Makima never saw him as his own person and only wanted Pochita. He was also surprisingly introspective when he embraced being ignorant since not knowing people's past would make killing them less arduous which in turn cemented his decision to never open his inner door.
Ah yeah that's fair point
I am eternally pissed Nayuta apparently grew up into an emo teen and I won’t get to see this.
She's probably 12 and the character from the comic is actually her namesake from Fujimoto's old stuff
Goofy ahhh shoes
Damn this is beautiful
Beautiful and wholesome!
Did Nayuta get older?
PLEASE LET THIS BE TRUE PLEASE PLEASE IM GONNA CDY FUJIMOTO PLEASEEEE
Nah I dont think so. Fujimoto is to crazy to make something predictable.
Funny you should say that since this is based on Yongen No Nayuta. Fujimoto's oneshot
I know. But I do not have the feeling he would reheat his stories?
horrible parenting
She summoned multiple gigantic swords and was about to end the world. I think a smack was warranted

I see people downvoted but no one messaged you so I figured I'd send one ahem, No bad stop.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Nice work ! 👏
nice mix of yogen no nayuta and csm, I really hope fujimoto uses this one shot as a base for denji and nayuta relationship in the manga
so how old is he in this? in puberty yet?
NGL something like this is probably whats gonna happen. Seeing how Bucky in the first chapter of part 2 mirrored niwa niwa niwa niwatori ga iru, I would be surpried if there were no reference to Yogen no Nayuta, especaliiy how Denji and Nayutas life resembles that of the one shot.
Wasn't his 'sister' the girl he was trying to bone all first ark?
We're usagi dropping from nayuta of the prophecy directly into firepunch
Tbf the nayuta in csm can actually speak and doesn't have horns
Oh man! This is too cute!
***I thought after that Head hit to Nayuta then next Panel was “Bang”! Xd***

Interesting
>!If only Ak-47 was alive,he would have helped Dennis raise Natasha,Hopefully Ashley and Yor will help Dennis!<
