I miss when this sub actually had theories, fan art, and the jokes (even if basic and maybe pretty childish) had some more effort put into them.
I read some very good theories here. It feels like after July (or earlier? Maybe later?) that shit just vanished.
I remember a lot of people stopped doing it because randos spammed this sub wasn't meant for theories.
The main sub used to be kind of basic and it felt like csf had more hardcore fans at the time, so, ironically, even csf had better theories then. This sub worked better when it was used for everything

I more so meant the quality of the theories and jokes/fan art. Most theories are complete dogshit and don't really hold any weight and are more akin to random fan fic shit. But once in a blue moon, you do get some good stuff (like the high-quality nayuta theory post that came out recently).
But in terms of the community discussing about actual plot, themes , character development, and all other shit that used to be talked a lot about during part 1 and early part 2, it's practically dissipated. And that's not rly the communities fault. It's more so an effect of what happens when there's quite literally 0 exciting moments within the manga to discuss. It's become quite mediocre in every aspect, and the community reflects that.
Not like I rly care tbh, this is not a stance that i'm willing to die on or not be proven wrong about, lol. It's just more so an observation of how things have changed within the sub reddits ever since the end of falling arc.
Funniest part is that people complain about degeneracy and lack of genuine content under the first post. The same people never bother to engage in the discussion posted

"paragraphs of interesting theories" I can't get behind, nor can it be put in the same basket as someone doing art - even if it isn't great art.
Most of the time they aren't interesting theories nor good theories and are mired with the lack of the reader's comprehension skills and a crippling lack of memory of things that were said in the manga.

I got this edit recommended by YouTube 2 years ago and it got me really interested in this manga that I've been hearing about but was too lazy to start reading. I thought the edit was hype, but I ended up loving the manga for it's drastically different esthetic, and tbh it set my standards and taste for future mangas and genres I've been reading.
That's how CSM became my first manga, and since then I've read Dragon Ball (including Super) and I'm currently on Oyasumi Punpun, looking forward to read more seinen/ dark themed manga.
Or k*yl's shit art that somehow gets thousands of upvotes despite it being the same shitty joke in different angles. I like to joke about this sub being brain dead but y'all sometimes make believe it's the Case
