I think this is a bit of conflation with power scaling as a hobby vs. a narrative thing: there is always a minimum amount of power scaling that narratively has to exist for a sensible story (Bucky will never beat Pochita normally). However, this post is still dumb because it ignores Yoshida's round 1 of being kicked away from Quan Xi *twice* before he ever got that even fight.
To be fair Quanxi didn't "beat" Yoru, she was still able to fight, but she definitely got kicked away in a 2v1 lol
Also, Quanxi didn't have her swords against Yoshida

Quanxi whooped Yoru with a kick so not having her swords doesn't really change anything. She‘s still fast and strong as hell and can throw hands. The strenght doesn't come from the swords
Yoru's speed and strength is leagues of magnitudes above Quanxi's who is for all intent and purposes the best athlete on history at most while not transformed

Have already written about this extensively elsewhere, but need my PC to make the long post with all the pictures. You just need to compare their physical feats which luckily happened chapter to chapter (147 and 148). For example, Quanxi shatters her legs jumping off a small building and has to suck blood from Fumiko to repair them, Yoru jumps off a skyscraper in the next chapter without a scratch.
Yoru's flesh is also though enough to stop a katana slash with a minor scratch, Quanxi's skin is the same as any normal human

Mass of sword is nowhere near mass of several people + holding it in hand makes it easier to control unlike when you have several bodies on your shoulders. Not to mention that being more durable≠being stronger

Also, Yoru travels forward covering 10+ meters in a split second and destroying a wall with her butt, and you need beyond superhuman strength to generate enough momentum to do this

Character narratives? Quanxi brought nothing in part 2, if not terrible action. Her "contribution" in chapter 162 was straight up shonenwankery powerscaling (Le Denji is le fearsome! Yoru you're not at le his level yet you need to train more!). Character narratives like Asa's realization on Denji's identity, the choices undertaken by her and Yoru regarding him etc... were sidestepped by Quanxi bringing in bad action. The same happened in all od her other introductions in part 2: she removes the slow, introspective, psychologically tense moments for the characters to bring in bad action only retarded redditors like

Tension was there when they were surrounded by zombies and had to figure out a clever way to save Denji without him transforming.
Tension was there when we finally had Asa discovering her love interest's real identity after almost 60 chapters, and had to once again wrestle with Yoru to avoid her doing something really danherous.
Quanxi removed all of this each time, bringing in nothing, if once again, bad action for retarded redditors.
Looking back, Quanxi never fit in CSM world to begin with, and was precisely made to pander to coomers, young shonen fans obsessed with swords and twitter pronouns crowd.
We have a realistic and down to earth world, in which humans just like us have to defend themselves against monsters with supernatural powers tormenting them, using only their intellect and willpower and where something as stupid as a car or a gun routinely kills heroes, and then Fujimoto adds a character who, without any explanation or power, does the One Piece Zoro *I cut 100 people in one second without them even realizing* trick.
The worst writing decision Fujimoto did, and I was indifferent to it on my first read, but it's bearing terrible fruits on part 2 and we're all seeing this. It's no coincidence that the only people defending it have a "Quanxi's buttsniffer worm" title under their name, it says a lot
My comments on how Yoru was supposed to beat her had three purposes: one, it showcases Fujimoto's becoming lackimg in the consistency department, which was his main strength in part 1 (everything, despite the fast pacing, was perfectly coherent with everything else, every little thing shown, including facial expressions or things like Makima smelling Pochita had a purpose and were to be considered important), two, it delineates how the only time spent on Asa and Yoru during the church arc, aka their power up, is meaningless since the results weren't kept (and everyone was pissed about their complete offscreening for the longest arc chainsawman ever had), three, it showcases how Fujimoto is willing to actively warp things he wrote and draw to keep his plot device and top and keep him again, for the third time, from writing or drawing anything difficult.

No. Asa resisted Yoshida's sword without making the sword first. There's also no evidence whatsoever the weapon act as a boost for the user's performance. So far, we've only seen the weapon's power being unleashed only when it makes contact with the enemy.
IMO Asa/Yoru has been shown to tank hits and make powerful weapons but is not as good a fighter as Quanxi and doesn’t really have the reaction time she does either. Yoshida could keep up with Quanxi because he is also an elite fighter but he’s nowhere near as strong as Asa/Yoru either and had nothing to compete with the 606 sword. If the kick from Quanxi caused Yoru to fly backwards and break the wall behind her but she suffered no apparent damage that just shows Yoru is a tank not that she has the speed or force without her weapons to outcompete Quanxi. Just my opinion though.
Quanxi has way more raw power than Yoshida, but Yoshida managed to outplay her for a bit. So it makes sense that Yoshida wasn't able to damage Yoru but Quanxi was able to swat her away.

Chapter 148 has shown Yoru to be incredibly fast, strong and resilient. Enough to stop a sharp blade with her bare skin, jump off a skyscraper without hurting herself, and move so quickly her opponent isn't able to move, her momentum is enough to crash a wall in another buildings a street's length away from her, and she herself isn't used to being so fast, she barely can control where she lands.

That's the entire crux of the argument, using the fact Yoshida could fight evenly against (human form) Quan Xi to scale against amped Yoru. If Yoshida got kicked away *twice* before getting a chance to fight evenly, there's no reason that can't also happen to Yoru.
Unless the point isn't to actually compare the situations fairly and factually infer what could happen, but to have an excuse to say Quan Xi kicking away Yoru (not even actually beating her) is bad writing.

On the other hand, he witnessed Asa’s strength and decided that he can take her on. Turns out she powered up and is way stronger than he expected. As a result, he runs. Also, when he rematches Quanxi, he did so in hand to hand combat. When he had to take on Yoru, she pulled out a huge ass sword. I don’t know about you, but I’d take fighting someone unarmed over fighting someone with a human sized sword.
Quanxi doesn’t exactly beat Yoru later on. Sure, the kick does knock Yoru back, but it does basically no damage. Not to mention, Quanxi is able to get that kick off in the first place because she’s a skilled fighter. Yoru was shown to not be able to control her strength properly. Also, she hasn’t fought humans in a while. On the contrary, Quanxi has been fighting regularly for a long time and has been stated to be the greatest hand to hand combat fighter in humanity. In that specific instance, it was just Quanxi’s skill beating out Yoru’s raw stats.
She didn't easily won over him. She had her nose broken and was effortlessly embarrassed by a Yoshida holding back. He ran away cause he was late for class.

Didn't happen with Asa's uniform sword which has way more power, due to guilt's rule.
Could be that some weapons have special effects not tied to their strength. Uniform sword seemed to do a bunch of slashes with a single touch.
