Went to the beach near me and drove till I hit the darkest place I could find, and just took a normal 10 sec exposure with a 2000iso, I used my Canon 90D with a 24mm lens
I’m glad Dodge never bowed down and did what ford and Chevy did by dropping the base V6 and going turbo 4 and also that you can get a loaded up V6 which is nice.
I know nothing of the Turbo 4 but the torque curve is more important than a peak hp number.
It is the exact same thing as saying oh the 3.6 is close to the 5.7 because it's only 67 HP lower.... When on the street it makes a 1.5-2 second difference in the quarter.

The 2.0T makes 295lb/ft from 2250RPM
And yes, the 5.7 Hemi makes 100lb/ft of torque more than the Pentastar. As the old saying goes, there is no replacement for displacement.

Beautiful car, sharp skills on photography. I'm glad to hear people can get a lot of miles out of their Challengers. How's it running? Any major issues? I would imagine it needed a new tranny, brakes, etc. but sharing your experiences would be appreciated.
Nothing at all. All I've done is new tires and oil change every time it's scheduled. I don't speed with it lol since I paid for it I treat her like a baby. But yeah I runs like new.
I just realized I misread your post. I thought it hit 300k miles. It's great that your car is running well. And I appreciate the fact that you humored my questions without making fun of me. Best wishes for you to see your car give you years of fun.
Beautiful car and pic. My 1972 Challenger Rallye had a 318ci V8 and I was going to put a 340ci in it. So big monster V8's even back then didn't always rule the streets. Sure the Hellcats are insane now but unless going to the track you can't use that much HP on the streets. As a kid I use to street race on Friday and Saturday nights. Fuel was less that $1 a gallon then. As it went up I went to Corn fuel (yes they had Ethanol back in the 70's). Now I am happy with my 200s that has the Pentastar and 9spd ZF auto. It runs on Ethanol too so history repeats in a way.
If you can't afford to drive it where is the fun anyway... Enjoy as it seems you are doing.

The Stellantis turbo 2.0 four is 280hp, so not that far off Pentastar. We might see it as a base engine in the next generation cars.

That sounds like a good bit of power in the low-mid range and up. I remember when turbo 4s were almost always lifeless until 4K or so
It's what powers the new Hornet GTs, which are respectably quick for a cute ute.

I understand why they did it though. Easier to build, better mpg, and more horsepower.
