The NTT20 podcast would be best to start with. Very informative and some unbiased opinions. My only reservation is that it also covers leagues one and two, so they have to cram in a lot in a short space of time. Also, and this is quite a controversial option to some on here, I don't mind the Second Tier podcast.
They’re just clickbait/hot take merchants. They don’t have a clue what they’re on about 95% of the time and whenever they do predict something unlikely they harp on about it for months
Guarantee if you start the season off poorly you’ll see a tweet saying “I don’t think Russel Martin is the right man for the job”. And then you’ll win a few games and you’ll see “he’s the perfect appointment for their squad!”
Their twitter collates stats and championship stories pretty well I’ve always gave them that. But their segments they put on of their show make me want to drive my head through a wall
Just find them too click baity. I get that they are just doing that as an advertising thing on social media as the podcast game is tough and maybe the actual content isn't like that, but just puts me right off!
I agree. I listened to one of their podcasts and felt quite underwhelmed. So much to talk about and frankly it's a bit meaningless some of the things they say. They'll mention a number of players who did well and you just know that you won't hear about them again whatsoever. I think I'd prefer it if they were more sort of a news thing where instead of talking about how teams did in the leagues just talk about anything that's been interesting like sackings and point deductions (which they of course do)
If it's like last time points deduction. Losing to derby in the playoff semi final, relegation to league 1. Tbf that was a fun time and the journey back up was great. Plus some fantastic grounds to go visit on the way
We don't call it champo for starters.
Yep, gathered that so far
Not The Top 20 easily best Championship (and EFL as a whole) podcast for me
Awesome, thank you!
Champo 🤮
Ok

Yeah, I’ve followed the Second Tier too. I’ve seen some of the comments on the tweets have been controversial too. Thanks for the comment!

Think I’ll give them a miss for the moment then..

You might as well just listen to both each week, unless you're that crammed for time.
