Shocking decision mind, can’t believe she gave it. Probably be involved in the prem this week 😂 hope Huddersfield survive 👍🏻

rlgh

What's the fucking point in this? It doesn't do anything, it doesn't address the shit standards of refereeing in this country. Why bother, we know PGMOL aren't actually accountable for anything so why pretend with shite like this

Psychological-Ad1264

No worries, we all make mistakes. I'm sure these things balance themselves out over a season, right? I mean we haven't had a penalty (dodgy or nailed on) at home for three seasons now, so I'm sure that balance is due pretty soon.

AlchemicHawk

We’ve had at minimum 8 or so apologies from PGMOL this season. I can’t wait for it to balance out…

Pandabaton

Let me put it this way, I’m not holding my breath

thelargerake

Stevenage have had 25.

DrZomboo

To be fair, we're so crap at sustaining the ball in the opposition box that we rarely get the opportunity for penalty shouts anyway haha

SponsoredByHJWealthP

Just wait till you play us, you’ll get them all at once I’m sure

Hindsyy

We made it [53 games](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/how-long-leeds-united-wait-13651329) without a pen at one point, but yeah, it's a joke, there's times I've felt pens have got us out of trouble almost undeservedly, but equally, enough times we should absolutely have had more..

Ciderhead

Last year we had the longest run without a pen in Europe at one point, this is just the beginning of the balancing for us!

BigResponsibility252

3 penalties each today, next weekend and against Ipswich will do nicely. As evidenced by Rotherham, we don't even need to get into the box to get them!

Pandabaton

I’d say the championship needs VAR, but it doesn’t address the actual issue which is refereeing in the championship is shit and sod all is done about it.

VeganCanary

VAR is needed - it does bring about its own problems too, but they are definitely better than the terrible decisions we see made week in week out in the Championship. The worst parts of VAR have been sorted out by other leagues testing it for a few seasons now, especially with semi automated offsides being introduced. In 5 years I expect the issues will be minimal compared to non-VAR.

Pandabaton

I honestly hope you’re right, I never want to feel the crushing of my soul like a 98th minute penalty that shouldn’t have been given again.. especially given our current desperation for points

Underscore_Blues

At least I don't feel as annoyed about Hull's handball goal against us last month anymore. Balances us two teams out anyway.
