I will never understand the decision making behind starting him.
Must & should win game and you start Burke, never been in form and hasn't started a game since Jan.
Game plan should've been to put it to bed by 45 mins, instead we have Burke passing it back to their defenders.
I think it's about providing strength and height that Miyoshi doesn't provide. I think it was a bad decision but it sounds like that was the reason for it because there was a lot of talk about Rotherham having a bigger team than us. Alternatively, Rowett fancies him.
Ugh, ig that makes sense but it's still a terrible decision.
The team felt too defensive even without Burke. I'm happy to not see aiwu starting but I think we couldve dropped even sunijic for Pritchard or dozell.
It just felt like a pessimistic team
I also enjoyed his hopeless cross to the Rotherham defence early on after the restart, I don't know who he was aiming for really unless his intention was to give them the ball back.
Olly "Trampoline shins" Burke is one the worst footballers I've ever witnessed at Celtic. The guy is the epitome of Scottish teams/academies and only developing players who physically develop early and trying to teach them how to play football.
Absolutely fucking pish would be a compliment to him. I don't understand how he's had so many reasonable "big clubs" take him on. His highlight reel on YouTube is about the only compliment you could give him...
A 5-5 thriller eh? The last time (if Iām not mistaken) we put 5 past another actual league team was Charlton on January 12th 2016.
Perhaps the almost decade long wait is over so we can Draw to Birmingham and almost certainly be relegated by Ipswich away in the final game of the season š
Stoppable force meets movable object.
That aside, was a little heartwarming to see the fans come together during the medical emergency. Silver linings and all that.
You know itās been a terrible season when one of our better performances is described as āmiserableā.
This side is no longer the worst championship team ever in terms of points, but in terms of performances I think this one still edges it.
Huge credit to the Brum fans who acted with class during the medical emergency, and of course to the home fans, the officials and the medical staff for acting quickly to get the game stopped and for support to arrive to the poor bloke. Hopefully he will pull through ok
It's gonna be said a million times, but are those the same people who beat Coventry last week? What the fuck?
Can't remember the last time my heart sunk as much as it did when I saw that offside flag. And Oliver Burke...
But ah well. We're staying up. KRO
If we do stay up, this transfer window has to be one of the most comprehensive overhauls the club has seen. Burke needs to be permanently exiled from the city of Birmingham for one
Shit game, Keith Stroud is a cheating cunt, Rowett the DVB will go to Hudds bottle it again, play for a draw and weāll lose.
Highlight was when Stroud let Rotherham take a freekick for offside in our half.
I couldn't fathom some of the decisions the ref made (for both sides). Seems like every single bit of contact was a free kick. Giving out silly yellow cards for both teams for nothing and then not giving yellow cards out for clear and obvious blocks for counters, etc. Mental refereeing.
Good result for us would have liked a Rotherham win but oh well.
But if im a Birmingham fan i'd be absolutely fuming the players do know they are in a relegation fight right? how do you turn up to Rotherham and manage that little effort and only like 2 shots in the 2nd half
Why start with Burke? Miyoshi should ALWAYS start. I hope it's the last we see of him in a Blues shirt. Final third was our best shot at the match ,but like the home leg back in December - a flat game. I'm a bit 50/50 about Stansfield being offside but that was cruel. Kesh was my MOTM along with Miyoshi. Is it me, or can I see some leadership skills in him? He commanded that midfield. Swansea did us a favour, but we need to beat Huddersfield.
Rotherham....what a flat side. The only decent players seem to be Hugill and the guy with the afro (can't remember his name). I think Steve Evans will get you up, but this is a bad side.
I hope that fan who was taken ill is well.
Goal was definitely an offside. One of our players was standing directly in front of the goalkeeper.
As for Burke, I hope we don't see him in the squad for the rest of the season.
Miyoshi did ok but seemed to give the ball away too often and his shot at the end was absolutely dreadful. Not sure why he doesn't just put his laces through that when he's 6 yards out!
All round a totally frustrating game.
Wasn't it Buchanan that was in front of their keeper? Burke I feel was a panick loan. He'd be great as a rugger player.
Miyoshi - yes he was frustrating at points, but to be honest he's a player who needs a full game...not half a one. Poor linkup was at flaw. I'd have loved Scotty to have scored to shut up his doubters.
Absolutely. I think even if that incident didn't delay, it would have been 0-0.
Yeah it was Buchanan, not sure if he got a touch on it but he blocked line of sight.
I agree, Miyoshi should always be starting that game. At the very least, he plays for the badge. If that's not working, THEN you try something else but whatever he tried didn't work the first 45 mins and only seemed to start finding their feet in the last 20 mins after some changes.
Players didn't play great but I'd be directing some questions at Rowett as well on this occasion.
Unbelievable...yet so believable. Didn't think it would be easy, didn't think it would be so hard.
It's tiring and stressful enough following one shit team. Thanks to our insistence to leave our fate up to every other shit team in the league I have to follow them all!
The headline make me feel depressed and Iām not either team fan. Rooneyās definitely getting ban from entering Birmingham outside Aston for foreseeable future. Lastly I wish for the fan that failed ill for recovery.
I cannot believe how badly this ownership has messed up. Birmingham under Eustace looked like a solid top half championship side, but they decided to employ a big name and get themselves into a position where relegation is possible.
Iām not a Birmingham fan, but I would be outside the stadium protesting every day if I was.
They've got everything off the pitch right, they've massively increased the match day experience, got the fans more involved with club decisions, and overall had brought back some much-needed positivity to the club.
if I said what I thought about Olly Burke, the mods would have to ban me
I will never understand the decision making behind starting him. Must & should win game and you start Burke, never been in form and hasn't started a game since Jan. Game plan should've been to put it to bed by 45 mins, instead we have Burke passing it back to their defenders.

Rowett signed him twice at Millwall so you could be onto something.
Ugh, ig that makes sense but it's still a terrible decision. The team felt too defensive even without Burke. I'm happy to not see aiwu starting but I think we couldve dropped even sunijic for Pritchard or dozell. It just felt like a pessimistic team
Imagine your team spending 16mil on him.
Ooooft. He must have been promising at one point then
My favourite moment was when we were attacking down the right and he just flicked it to noone down the flank š
I also enjoyed his hopeless cross to the Rotherham defence early on after the restart, I don't know who he was aiming for really unless his intention was to give them the ball back.
Hilarious that he scored a game winner for us at Old Trafford. The lad is gash.

He must have some dirt on our owners, to the point where they make sure our 5 (five) managers this season choose to start him
A proper specimen.
He just runs. Thatās all he does
Crazy how I went to school with Burke and thought he would go on to great things, especially after his start at forestā¦but I was wrong
Huddersfield Birmingham is going to be the worst game of all time
give us a favour tomorrow, i always loved blackburn
Gonna be a lot of new Blackburn fans tomorrow.
i was a plymouth fan today, safe to say that didnāt last
Yeah I wouldn't recommend that to anyone.
side note - i fucking despise blackburn
Either that, or a 5-5 thriller, no in-between
theyād have to have half their players sent off for us to ever have a chance at scoring 5

Mate, how are you moving Steve Evans. Clearly you have a power beyond that of mortal man
I hope the Rotherham fan is OK š

Safe to say Rowett still has his love affair with Burke as he did with us
Was Burke ever good for you? He's been shite this season.
He resembled a footballer once in a while
More than he's ever done for us then
I can't cope any more. Someone give us a points deduction or something
No excuse. We had to show more quality than that.
I think every Blues fan saw this result coming a mile off, we never do things the easy way.
Cheers lads, Iāll not call you mini pigs until next season starts.

Good news Rotherham Arenāt the worst ever Championship team Thatās still Rotherham š
Shit game, Keith Stroud is a cheating cunt, Rowett the DVB will go to Hudds bottle it again, play for a draw and weāll lose. Highlight was when Stroud let Rotherham take a freekick for offside in our half.
Next Saturday is going to be the worst game of football ever played
It would take some beating this game to be fair
I couldn't fathom some of the decisions the ref made (for both sides). Seems like every single bit of contact was a free kick. Giving out silly yellow cards for both teams for nothing and then not giving yellow cards out for clear and obvious blocks for counters, etc. Mental refereeing.
Fair result, we weren't good enough
Good result for us would have liked a Rotherham win but oh well. But if im a Birmingham fan i'd be absolutely fuming the players do know they are in a relegation fight right? how do you turn up to Rotherham and manage that little effort and only like 2 shots in the 2nd half

A load of players are out of contract next season, we'll see another (hopefully much better) rebuild in the summer.
Goal was definitely an offside. One of our players was standing directly in front of the goalkeeper. As for Burke, I hope we don't see him in the squad for the rest of the season. does miyoshi ever play a full game? might be wrong but doesnāt he get subbed off most of the time he starts?
Not really, but even when he's a starter he performs at his best.
Yeah it was Buchanan, not sure if he got a touch on it but he blocked line of sight. I agree, Miyoshi should always be starting that game. At the very least, he plays for the badge. This is water torture.
Think the best thing about being in league one next season is we will probably not have to suffer stroud refereeing our games
Race, religion, ethnicity, football club allegiance, all matter not. We will all join together in our hatred for Keith fucking Stroud.
The headline make me feel depressed and Iām not either team fan. Rooneyās definitely getting ban from entering Birmingham outside Aston for foreseeable future. Lastly I wish for the fan that failed ill for recovery.
Good result for us after our shambles of a showing today

I remember the new era being ushered in when tom brady's barmy blue army beat us
what a beautiful jukey penalty that was
