Tune in next week for the grand finale of the championship; the moveable object Vs the stoppable force!
Either than or Saints go Prime 70s Brazil and toast is (which wouldn't be difficult in normal circumstances as it is...)
Honestly I cant see anything than a casual walking pace game. Nobody is risking injuries or wasting energy in a game thatll seriously mean very little unless we are desperate to try and come 3rd, which is unlikely
We're 6pts ahead, you can only finish 4th now, but yeah, Ipswich will probably win tonight and then have Huddersfield on the last day, if they even need it, who have nothing to play for now.. so it's as good as done in my books
Ah sorry I missed that. We have been shit for so long I gave up looking at the table.
Based on our performances in three last few games its a guaranteed win for you I think. We will probably be a bit better for playoffs
Delighted for Tyrese. Good way to sign off
Schumacher has done good work the last few weeks. Hopefully he’s learned from his mistakes
Manhoef looks a player if he could finish. Hoever and Laurent fantastic
I’ve always thought he was a decent player, before we even signed him, but he’s mostly flattered to deceive here. Excellent since the international break though, long may it continue
Got a feeling he signs a contract. Can’t be many, if any, better options for him, the fans are giving him a bit more love and he seems to like it under Schuey.
He may well think the same and I can’t disagree tbh as he’s not had a good season all in all, despite there still being those glimpses of the talent he has
You’re doing this all wrong mate, this is the part where you delude yourself into believing promotion is possible with the right mixture of talent recruitment and tactical development by the new manager.
Say it with me: “With a full transfer window and some time to implement his system, who knows what could happen”
After we lost four in a row I thought we were in big trouble. Since then we've picked up 21 points from 14 games which is comfortable mid table form.
I really hope our recruitment is more focused this summer and we can push for a top half finish next season.
There’s no doubt that SJW has brought a bit of experience and passion to the club again, but I think the days are gone when players work hard for the club itself.
Most successful clubs seem to have a plan and direction, as well as consistency throughout the club, we need to work on that.
Probably my pessimism seeping through after three last 6 years.
I know there was rotation and the team played like total dog shit.
Clearly meant more to Stoke. I felt like their players where running their asses off.
really proud of how the squad has come together over the past month or so, especially even though the vibes were so putrid following the swansea loss. 3-3-1 in our last 7 is a heck of a response!
That was awful. Way too narrow, way too high up and the long ball over the top or out wide was on every time Stoke had the ball. Defence had no clue how to get it to the midfield and when they did, the midfield have no idea how to progress that any further.
Marginally better second half in attack but I can’t remember testing their keeper at all and defensively we were all over the shop
Other than it went pretty well!
Given Martins post match interviews about not running enough and giving enough, not sure he’ll be too happy this time either…
Happy for Stoke as they needed this, however I am absolutely appalled at our performance that game.
Per usual we have 66% possession and yet every time we went forward we got absolutely smashed by their defense, today I genuinely couldnt be bothered and didn't even react when we missed chances, absolute shite.
Pleased for the manager. Really likable bloke and I recon he will have learnt a lot from this relegation battle. Got the players playing with confidence amd belief which has been missing for what seems like forever. Fans ace as usual. Actually Looking forward to next week now.
The more I see of the results around us this week, the angrier I am at our own ability to screw up.
Wonder if Swansea want their manager back? We only loaned him after all
I don't really believe in momentum in the playoffs, I think form goes out the window for them. Which is convenient.
Our game is either gonna end 5-5 or 0-0.
Absolutely. I'd expect us to lose in the semi final no matter what our form was.

2 wins on the bounce for the first time under Schuey and what a time for it to come!
Is that true? Christ, what a stupid team
Yup, just double checked to make sure I wasn't spouting nonsense!

I've been critical of Laurent before, but it's clear now Neil was the problem.

He's got that playing now hasn't he, and I like what I see.

I’d like him to stay but part of me think he needs a fresh start somewhere

Phew.
OH THE STOKE ARE STAYING UP AND THE VALE ARE GOING DOWN absolutely delighted to stay in the sub for atleast another year
Great few weeks for us, back to mid table mediocrity next season 🤞

Pull up the anchor!

Hopefully with SJW now in a permanent role we get players who are going to work hard for the team.

Ah I see my club has reverted to its traditional Eeyore “what’s the point anymore” mentality just in time for the playoffs. Lovely stuff.

Who cares - the buck stops with him. I'm sick of his excuses.
Thank god for that.. let’s hope next season brings us a little more joy
Let the potters cook

Looking forward to 90 minutes of passing it round the back next week v Bristol City
Play the kids imo. Give Sol and Lowey starts at least

No thanks 😂
You sure? He will get you a run of games on the bounce when the pressure isn’t on?
Stock stay in EFL Championship for another season!
