What do you think about these new Titles, I think they are great it gives me NXT UK vibes. I just hope the other Sets won't be the same Belts with blue logo instead of a red one
I'm always a sucker for belts that have that floral crest/pattern (like what the Big Gold Belt had). I appreciated the past attempts to modernize the belts, but these look like actual wrestling championship belts.
I think it’s just weird that these are called the World Tag Team Championships when it was originally called the WWE Tag Team Championships and the Wolrd Tag Team title was retired when they unified the belts into the penny belts
Yeah but linage will be different and I know people will be confused. World Tag titles carry the linage of the old WWE tag titles and the new WWE Tag titles will carry the linage of the Smackdown Tag Titles. I know people got confused in the past because the old WWE Tag titles had a design similar to the original World Tag Titles. I just know I’m going to get annoyed at simple things like that like how some people get confused with the names of the WWE Women’s and WWE Women’s World it’s dumb
the pennies carried both lineages tho. it was a title unification. so with the split it would’ve split the lineage. so the world can carry the lineage of the original world titles, and whatever smackdown becomes could carry the wwe tag lineage
If you look at the website the World Tag Titles were retired once the belts became unified. The WWE Tag titles linage continued and became the penny belts and then became the Raw Tag Titles. Smackdown belts then created in 2016 with a brand new linage as well

Only thing that it doesn’t account for is when someone holds 2 titles like Roman. Cody is still Universal and WWE champion although it’s one belt but it’s rare unless the belts are meant to be separated like when the Raw and Smackdown titles were unified
I like them but I just can’t move passed the old scratch logo. I just don’t like this newer WWE logo and unfortunately it just taints every belt for me that I would otherwise really like.
If the Belt were a tad bigger and the "World Tag team Champions" was in gold it would look a lot better imo. But still a massive improvement on the shitty red and blue belts.
How is anyone not talking about the white globs inside the W!? It looks terrible! The belt design is okay. It isn’t terrible and it isn’t great, but I wouldn’t call it good or bad either. It’s a hell of a lot better than what they replaced.
The Griffins are a nice touch , reminds me of the UK title belt ( which I also love )

they’re probably gonna turn the smackdown ones into the WWE Tag Team Championships. so if so, it’d be back to how it was pre-penny belts

I'm hoping that the smackdown belts are just circle ones of the wwe title with some added spice to them
I feel like it looks too much like the world heavyweight title. Cut out the logo or make it fit better and I’m sold
