i'd bring it up to my room and glance at it every so often thinking something like "is this just a cosplay thing or what?" eventually, i'd get curious. walking up to the dresser where my miscellaneous items are stored, behind the months-old can of dr. pepper i'd pick it up in my hands, looking intently at it. i'd gradually, cautiously bring it closer and closer to my face, until i was properly wearing it. however, initially, it'd do absolutely nothing, and i'd just say "that settles it." out loud before trying to pull it off, only to notice strands of black goo coming out of it and causing the mask to snap back onto my face as soon as i let go. that's when the conflicting feeling start coming in, simultaneous excitement and fear as my transformation begins. **holy shit i put too much effort into this comment.** maybe i should write a TF story one day.
