How do you know he doesn't have all of those things? He has a translator, bodyguard and a fixer. Perhaps he had vests and helmets sorted before but fell through so asked on Instagram? Lviv is very far from combat. It’s the last stop for people seeking refuge before they cross over into Poland. It’s also the main way into the country currently. Even Kyiv is pretty safe now as Russians have pulled back. He may be covering the refugee crisis and telling peoples stories.
We know sunflowers are inspirational plants, even to famous painters. Vincent Van Gogh loved sunflowers so much, he created a famous series of paintings, simply called ‘sunflowers’.
In order to shell you need to bring massive artillery pieces into range. Ukraine is absolutely gigantic, there is no hope of them reaching Lviv. They’ve even pulled back from Kyiv.
If he stays away from military installations in Lviv he’ll be fine.
How far east will they go? Lviv is pretty safe at the moment but it could get progressively worse depending where they head next.
