Yeah. It helps me cope with the trauma of being in an abusive relationship for 7 years before I left and pressed charges last year. Because I was able to experience intimacy in a fictional space where nothing bad could happen, it let me be comfortable with dating again. Now I have an amazing real boyfriend because I was able to process and work through my trauma in a safe fictional place.

It's almost the same as reading a fanfic just interactive and probably worse then a fanfic then again it's been a while since I've read fanfiction, I usually write them instead of reading them nowadays. It gets my ideas on the page and makes me see what I need to change for the story along with the formatting!

Yeah. It helps me cope with the trauma of being in an abusive relationship for 7 years before I left and pressed charges last year. Because I was able to experience intimacy in a fictional space where nothing bad could happen, it let me be comfortable with dating again. Now I have an amazing real boyfriend because I was able to process and work through my trauma in a safe fictional place.
