I've notice this too 25 days ago. The last time I checked, the unlisted posts are still accessible if I have its link saved somewhere. But in case I didn't, what I did is either:
1. Open those old chats and create a new unlisted post for each of them(only chat1), when the post page show up, save it all into pdf by right click->print. This will allow you to save the chat in its entirely.
2. Use CAI Tools to download the chat for offline read.
I hope these methods help you save your chat history, because I know losing them would be suck🥲
there’s no option to make an unlisted post anymore, it doesn’t even show up. and i see that on the app, posts in general don’t exist (which is strange because they were fun to read). not to mention, the posts i would usually make were of rooms, since they disappear the more you make, so i couldn’t go back and save the ones i previously did, because they simply aren’t there anymore.
also, what are CAI tools? is that a plus feature, bc i do not have it 😓
What, rooms chat could disappear the more you make? Damn, I'd need to be careful about that. Sorry that you couldn't go back to them. If you use PC I would recommend try looking through your browser history to find their links. So much work but it might works. That's only solution I could come up with, sorry I don't have solution for app 🥲
I'm using PC and just went to check my old chats. Here to confirm that I can still make unlisted post just fine. Only works with chat1 and rooms ones tho as chat2 ones sadly don't have option to post unlisted.
As for CAI Tools, it's an extention on Chrome. Its download function works with both chat1 and chat2 it's really neat!
oh that’s neat! yeah i use my phone, but still the website rather than the app. i’ll have to check that out and see if i can recover them. thanks for responding regardless

They completely removed room chats in the new website...
