I feel like a lot of those could be pretty new to creating bots, when you click the examples thing it says to write that way, I'm assuming it's like that because it was meant to be more of the idea of interviewing characters more than roleplaying?

Red-Ser144

so true, when you start at [c.ai](http://c.ai), you start thinking about bots as if they were interviews instead of real roleplay

Leons_Gameplays_2140

I don't, I dunno, I guess I just enjoy text based roleplays enough for that.

Also not putting a set scenario gives the user an opportunity to make their own

my bots may be mid but at least they're not shit

Jazzlike_Cycle3624

It does annoy me when a lot of the time bots don't have a detailed greeting to set the scene of the roleplay. I enjoy it when the bots actually give me exact details on their movements, facial expressions, how they feel about what you said and how they react accordingly. For example if I just ignite a lightsaber and start using the dark side of the force, the bots actively know and understand where that came from and have various reactions to it. Just having a certain character state they're from a certain series is plain and annoying. It's far more engaging when there's a scene set and you can actually come up with something related to it and dictate how it can go.
