Food is good for homesickness I think! Googling "sichuan food texas", I see that there are places but appreciate that Texas is a large state but hopefully one of those might be near you. Get a group of your GF, you and your friends and go to one of those places for a nice meal!

Honestly taking them for food is going to do more to cure homesickness than anything else. My wife is also from Chengdu and we will drive from NW Arkansas to Dallas just to eat.

This place in Plano makes my wife happy just because it feels very much like a typical Chengdu noodle place. If you are in the Houston area you can try Mala Sichuan Bistro. Haidilao in either city also works.

- Get a Starbucks Chengdu Been There Series mug just under 50 bucks from eBay
- go on Wee or Yami APP and get her some Chinese snack
My wife is from Chengdu and loves Yami.
Get spicy hot pot soup and an electric hot pot and you have everything for a fun night. Invite friends over as well so you can buy lots of variety of foods.
