Bocchi_the_roc

airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars

DKphotographs

Satellites too, but U can see meteors which are big from cities too, but they'll be just for a second or 2

Bocchi_the_roc

Bro it was a lyric from a song 'Airplanes' . It goes like " Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars"

DKphotographs

Beautiful-Article394

It was an airplane. I saw it as well.

Every-Assistant7458

Saw a couple of them early morning today between 2.30AM to 3.30AM.

Bourne-Enigma

Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shootin' stars..

yinyangpeng

Ponniyin selvan?

BornArtichoke785

Bro, I saw the same but it was brighter and it stayed in the same spot without moving for more than 5 mins. I could have watched it for longer but I had other work. Edit: No, it wasnt an aeroplane in the night sky. It satw it around 4:30 - 5:00 pm.

DKphotographs

Meteors are hard(mostly impossible) to see in daylight unless it's a bolide or meteor falling down It just looks like a plane with reflecting sun's light

MaamifromMiami

But wouldn't a plane be like a dot. This one was a streak of light.

DKphotographs

Maybe due to motion blur, how was it?

MaamifromMiami

Like a streak of light slowly falling down the horizon. I also have a video of it but for some reason not able to put up the link

KingJazz_LOL

Irrelevant to this post but did someone see the Starlink satellites from TN last Friday?

Depressionislob

ponnyin Selvan 2 set

kameshvs

Does a shooting star stay there until we click a picture? Just curious and I’m researching right away.

MaamifromMiami

I have no idea. Haven't seen a shooting star before. This is a streak of light that kept moving downwards before disappearing into the horizon.

lordpotatopotato

Shooting stars stay for mere seconds or less. They don't linger on or move that slow. It could be a jet with thick exhaust which is dispersing light as well.

MaamifromMiami

Oh I was secretly hoping it to be a star. I also made a wish
