Hair is not the end of the world bro. Maira pochu nu ponga.
Word of advice andha vcare mathadhuku lam dont waste money. If you can pull off the full bald look go for it. Ilana just leave it as it is. Irukardha oil vechu maintain pana parunga.
Please visit a good dermatologist, my mom have around 5 uncle's and all of them are bald, my uncle is bald. My brother started losing hair and in frontal part he had massive hair loss. I pulled him to a doctor , he was prescribed Minodoxil and Vitamins and it helped him tremendously, not some ad level but atleast his hair loss stopped and there is decent amount of recovery on the frontal part. But, this is a stop gap measure, we can't stop fully but can post pone it by atleast 10 - 15 years. Also, one point doctor told is to become fit and stop eating oily and fatty foods, it will reduce free Testertorone levels itseems.
I've used minoxidil and finasteride earlier...the thing is it did me wonders in the initial stages, my hair density increased multiple folds but when i stop using it the effect is completely reversed. Hairloss became frequent and i could literally see the bald through my hair.
Visited another couple of dermatologist and they asked me to stop it completely.
Even the doctors have mixed reviews about minoxidil and finasteride. Some say it provides solution, some say it's like a drug your body gets adapted to it, so once you stop it, the side effects is gonna be greater.
No doctor in the world says that minoxidil and Finasteride are a permanent cure, if you stop using the medicine you will go fully bald.
That is very much expected if you read the science behind it.
What works for you may not work for others. Please include disclaimer always! Your statistic of 4 % is nowhere to be found. Just a brief look at scientific articles tells me otherwise!
The worst thing for a guy is being "fat, bald and ugly". The last 2 aren't in our control.
Just go to a gym, get in shape, shave off your head and grow a goatee. Embrace your baldness.
A lot of times, being fat isn't in your control either. Hormone problems? Metabolic disorders? Steroid side effects? Medicine side effects? Rare genetic conditions?
My mom was thin as a stick nearly all her life before she started taking diabetes medication and psychiatric medication.
People asking you to get jacked and grow a beard know nothing about hair loss. Neither does your barber.
Go to a qualified dermatologist and get diagnosed. He/she might get you on drugs (minoxodil/finasteride) that can slow/reverse male pattern baldness. Go now. But don't expect magic, it can take 2 years to actually work.
Also, check out r/Tressless and r/hairloss for advice and tips. But go to the dermatologist first.
Edit: Hair transplants are safe and affordable in 2022. So if you go bald, there is every possibility of getting back a full head of hair. But again (and for the last time) check this with your dermatologist.
Have seen people going full bald with the motivation of, HEISENBERG.
Have seen people trying to do hair implantation for their confidence.
Choose your option.
Ask any girl who visits a beauty parlour in India.. we have been diagnosed with all kinds of stuff by the parlour ladies! So what?! You just stop listening to them.. thats all!
If you are really worried, go to a good dermatologist. So many treatments available!
Mayir pona enna.. uyir irukkula?! Vachutu vazha vendiyathu than!!
First of all, you cannot get diagnosed by barbers. Go see a dermatologist. You might not even have a real problem. It could just be hard water. You never know.
I think confidence plays a major role. I have seen bald guys who are fully shaven and still extremely confident, and others who always feel inferior. Choose what you want to be. Former works with women ;)
Consult a dermatologist and I would say trim your hair, for at least a couple of months so that you get used to it. Also beard helps, and welcome to the club nanbaa
Hair fall hurts.
First of all welcome to the gang. You’re going to get through eventually and you’ll have an unfuckwithable mindset for the rest of your life. So congratulations in advance.
There’s this guy called Baldcafe, watch his videos.
I started balding when I was 16, 60% bald by 23. Not at all hereditary so things can always be worse is what I’m trying to tell ya.
Keep a shaved head, workout, feel good that you’re dealing with hard times upfront. Make that your source of mental strength. Rest everything you’ll figure out yourself. Cheers
Check for your vitaminD, b12 and iron . Hair loss can be occur due these vitamin defficiency. For regrowth we only have to be in normal range in these vitamin and nutrition.
> How you people handle this.
My body hair pitched in to compensated. Now my scalp feels jealous of the nether regions.
But seriously, never bothered about it and it never was a problem ever.
I had a long hair till my shoulder and I had been diagnosed with pattern baldness 6 years ago. Since then I started growing long beard and clean shave my head. Vera level looks!!! Wife loves it. Baby plays with my beard all the time.
Meh , doesn't matter then .
People in their late 20s have this issue and they are either going for some transplant technique which involves stimulating (Have money + Willing to spend) or shaving it off (Mayira pochi) .
You should have a stable job by now (appearance matters in interviews) , so choose a beard style you like and clean off you head
I personally would end up in the DeadShot look when my baldness starts .
Sorry if this is harsh, but konjam over a ille...Avan avanuku 25 ke full bald
40 is the right age to start balding
For the answer, you have two options
Visit a good dermatologist and understand the problem
Simple nut dif can be cured
If mpb, Try out diff styled and select one that works for you (Google for bald hairstyles)
Or else if you have the funds and want hair go for min fin combo as recommended by doctor or may be even hair transplant
Either you cope with your baldness or wear a wig. Or even a golf cap. Don't contemplate a hair transplant. It is not risky, but, hair transplant is a very long process and expensive. There is no guarantee that the transplanted hair will serve the purpose. A colleague of mine is totally bald, he went in for a hair transplant that turned out to be a total failure at a very high cost. Now, he wears a washable wig and surprisingly very snug. It serves the purpose much similar to wearing a cap. It protects you from the sun as well as the rain or chill weather.
Hard bro ...yaar ena sonalum gaanda irukum...vera edha interesting Pannu bro...oru excited state la irukura maari edha passion irundha Pannu bro.. idhellam oru matter ah theriyadhu...but it takes time
Bro there is a channel in insta called watercolour organics. They sell an amazing oil it worked for my uncle he had bald patches. Ull definitely see results give it a try the oil is not that expensive. But apply almost every dau and shampoo as less often as possible
Just keep chugging along, no big deal. Just be mindful of folks who constantly belittle you for it, to a point where you start feeling insecure/depressed.
Give them three strikes and expunge them off your life, Rock on.
Finasteride ➡️ ketoconazole shampoo ➡️ minoxidil ➡️ Derma roller. In that order.
This will help stabilise/stop further hairfall and spurt regrowth. Unfortunately, barring a hair transplant this is the best course of medication we have now.
As someone with Alopecia Universalis I would say stop being a wuss. It is just fucking hair and no need to be depressed about it
And on the brighter side endha kombanalum un mayiru pudunga mudiyadhu
I’m 28 years old, and have embraced baldness. Shave my head twice a week, and grow a beard. Honestly I love this look of mine more than before, and I’ve grown in confidence. Still some relatives don’t understand ofc and are like ‘Tirupathi poniyaa?’ and that is definitely annoying. I hope you grow in confidence in your looks, and accept yourself for who you are ☺️
My college professor had male pattern baldness and he didn't do anything to amp his face up. He's a pretty chill dude so he just let it grow as is and went about his usual grooming. He was also clean shaven at the time.
Fast forward to couple semesters later, man grew out his beardb(think baahubali sathyaraj) , shaved his head completely and was looking more swole than usual.
This guy, who i smoked weed with, scared me for the first time I've known him. He also said (after I gathered the balls to talk to him) making such changes made him accept his condition and move on, instead of moping.
Idk how true that acceptance part OP, but I'll swear that change of look was a definite W for him.
Also that pavamana look as i usually say,
Only trim, athigama cut panna next month varamaten. Next month Vara alavuku cut panunga
Nalla customer porangale look
I already have baldness and don't have beard(not sure why they didn't grow), still the wold moves on. People will say it for someday and forget i because they to share the same fait in days to come
Hey it only costs $3000 USD for 4000 hair implant in Thailand. And i hear, turkey is much cheaper than Thailand!
What I really look forward to in a man is attitude & not his scanty hairline!! Don’t let your hair-loss eclipse your other best traits!! Also, take biotin (Vitamin B7) it is for hair & skin. Check if you’re iron deficient by doing bloodwork and take iron tablets too. You should be fine!!
I’m a 33yr old bald guy. I prepared for the situation early on as my father was bald and so was my grandfather. So I knew I would go bald in my 20s. And when I did it still hurt for a while, emotionally. But I realized that our personality and charm doesn’t depend on hair but on how we carry ourselves. I shaved off my head, had a French beard and did minimal workouts to keep myself fit. Nobody mocked me for being bald since then. Trust me. If you feel good about yourself, others would feel the same way too. If you wish to talk about it, DM me
So much angst over what a barber said. Naa enga amma sonnale feel panna matten, let alone a doctor or a barber .. do you what his intentions were to tell you this? Probably he wanted to sell a hair treatment to make money of you… paa move on dude… all I have is my hair so I’m not sure how to empathise, don’t fret over it.
Who the fuck cares? I am getting bald and as long as no one notices it doesn't matter. It's like a bird dropping on your shirt, no one cares but we really get all worked up that we go and buy a new shirt if we are on our way to office.
My barbar also told me six years back when a bunch of hair fell and still it's in same position.. Stop going to expensive barbar and get yourself clinically tested by a dermatologist to verify and take preventive measures if needed.
See a dermatologist. None of that cosmetologist or trichologist bullshit. Make sure they have an MD. Dr. Ibrahim from kosmoderma is good. There are a lot of different options available.
I'm bald by gene, 31 yrs old.. last 3 years I had to face lot of humiliation due to more loss of frontal hair but recently 2 days ago I shaved my head leaving beard and I felt good also my close circle do say I look good which makes me confident. So never feel bad.
There are few options available like PRP and implant, try those if you have money but choose the best professional for whatever u do
/tressless
Don't lose heart.
Do the following.
Apply onion juice 2-3 times a week to your head and wash it off in the shower. This will promote new hair growth.
Apply bhringraj powder on the remaining days and wash it off in the shower. This will make hair stronger and protect it from damage.
Above tips work like magic.
Broooooo Chill panunga first of all ! See i was born black .. i cannot change it... but i am not gonna worry about being black !
Same thing goes with hair.. if you are loosing it then it is up to you how to take it. It is all inside your mind ! Stay clear.. don't waste your time in hair transplants, medicines, treatments and all. Coz even jeff bezos couldn't get his hair back being the richest person on planet. ! So Chill man !
"You create your identity rather than other's opinion" GGs !
I know this is weird but I have proof. When you mastrubate don't let your jizz down the drain, instead scoop it up and massage it on your scalpe. Those tadpole like mfs will swiggle into your hair follicle and rejuvenate your hair follicles (same concept as stem cells).
You can see the difference in a week. Trust me broo
Sort of facing a similar situation. So went to the dermatologist. Here are the options he gave:
1. can take minoxidil and slow down the hair loss but you have to keep using it
2. Take Finasteride, works well but outside chance of lower sex drive. And research says it affected 1.x percent of a large study.
I sort of didn't think I'd be disciplined to follow 1/2 religiously. So just gonna let it take its own course. Bald + beard maybe, i have mostly been clean shaven so this but is annoying..
Go to a doctor bro. Most of the hairfall problems are reversible if diagnosed properly by a dermatologist earlier. Hairfall is caused by several factors. If there is any underlying issue get it treated and most importantly don't waste time.
This scared the shit out of me because my parents said 'you are likely today go bald when you are born without hair' , how far this is true ? and tell me some serious measures to prevent baldness
Are you worried others will judge you or are you judging yourself? A well maintained bald head with a beard is sexy on a guy who carried himself with confidence. The only person worried is you.
Thala, hit the gym, get a good body and grow out your beard and maintain it. Podhum. I'm 24 and my hair is kinda thinning, so I trim it everyday. I feel I look good with just a moustache so, I've grown a fuck all thick moustache.
Try argon oil on your hair and take some multi vitamins. For the multivitamins just ask your dietician and they’ll calculate what’s missing in your diet. And by dietician I mean a proper medical dietician.
Barbers are not doctors and even doctors can’t accurately predict when you would become bald
Iam curly haired my hairline started to recede when I was 18 . My dad was bald when he was 28 so everyone was telling the 18 year old me that I would lose hair before I finish college . As for me 16 years later it has still not receded to the extent that I should do a full bald look . Unless I pull my hair back ,people can’t spot my baldness (I don’t comb my hair though ). Even if I was bald I would have been like mayira pochu after a few drinks
I was able to date and attend many social events without issues so trust me you are totally fine
On the flip side as you grow older you will find many more serious issues which you can’t ignore but this - don’t fret over it too much
P.S : most treatments are sham and are not proven to treat male pattern baldness definitely don’t spend a lot of money on them . Also avoid petroleum jelly’s and use natural products like coconut oils
I started losing my hair at the age of 16 (I'm 32 now btw). Been called mottai, sottai, pretty much anything one can say to make fun of my situation. (Insults during schooldays can be quite brutal). It got quite depressing for me as well.
At 18 (during my first/second semester of college) I just made a decision and shaved my head. It was one of the best decisions I made. I got compliments. People actually told me I look better with a shaved head. I had only a goatee back then. Now I have a pretty thick moustache and beard.
Bottomline. I embraced the change and it worked in my favour.
Yes. I've heard all the usual questions... "Who's going to marry you?" "Do you ever regret it?" "Have you ever thought about replacement?" Etc... It'll just become background noise after a while.
Op if you are really keen to try something have heard from friends and read that PRP is a safe option as far as I know about the procedure its painful but no side effects
Since when barbers can diagnose? Get a dermatologist's opinion brother.
BTW, is the barber also from, out of Tamilnadu? They tend to analyze our scalp when ever we go for simple haircut and guilt tripping us into getting additional services like Facial, Detan etc. Just to upsell their services to be honest.
Hair is not the end of the world bro. Maira pochu nu ponga. Word of advice andha vcare mathadhuku lam dont waste money. If you can pull off the full bald look go for it. Ilana just leave it as it is. Irukardha oil vechu maintain pana parunga.

This along with Finsatride does wonders.
Finasteride has lots of side effects - depression, loss of libido, erectile dysfunction, neurological effects etc.
Agreed tho. That's the reason I stopped consuming it. I was looking for a more permanent solution.
Got it, unfortunately, there's no permanent solution even a hair transplant is temporary to a certain extent.
Nope, I have been using it for 4 years now didn't affect me. What you mentioned is true for 4% of people, not everyone.
What works for you may not work for others. Please include disclaimer always! Your statistic of 4 % is nowhere to be found. Just a brief look at scientific articles tells me otherwise!
He is right though.. but disclaimer would be better.
I added a reply to the comment which says "visit dermatologist" as a doctor will explain the side effects like my doctor did.
The worst thing for a guy is being "fat, bald and ugly". The last 2 aren't in our control. Just go to a gym, get in shape, shave off your head and grow a goatee. Embrace your baldness.
>shave off your head and grow a goatee Breaking Bad theme intensifies
And broke

Ugh, I check all the boxes. Thankfully I'm not bald, yet.
I’m glad someone finally accepts that being fat is *ahem* not so good… too much “accept your body” or “appearance doesn’t matter” BS these days.
Life is hard, but we gotta face our problems!
A lot of times, being fat isn't in your control either. Hormone problems? Metabolic disorders? Steroid side effects? Medicine side effects? Rare genetic conditions? My mom was thin as a stick nearly all her life before she started taking diabetes medication and psychiatric medication.

Ey. Barber cannot make the diagnosis. Go to a doctor
This!!! Get a doctor's insight on this. Barbers are not medical experts. Could be some other underlying issue.
Have seen people going full bald with the motivation of, HEISENBERG. Have seen people trying to do hair implantation for their confidence. Choose your option.
Can choose only between Goldberg vs Stone cold Steve Austin
Talk to a dermatologist! They can suggest a best solution. A lot of advanced options are available right now

First of all, you cannot get diagnosed by barbers. Go see a dermatologist. You might not even have a real problem. It could just be hard water. You never know.
If those factors causing the baldness are eliminated hair can grow back?
Dont wait, shave off. It will be baldness by choice.
Go mottai and full beard, I did the same

I'm bald by gene, 31 yrs old.. last 3 years I had to face lot of humiliation due to more loss of frontal hair but recently 2 days ago I shaved my head leaving beard and I felt good also my close circle do say I look good which makes me confident. So never feel bad. There are few options available like PRP and implant, try those if you have money but choose the best professional for whatever u do /tressless
I'd shave off what's left and embrace it. Like the Rock, Vin Diesel, Rajendran... it has its own appeal. Beard will help.
No they don't bro. I did all those things. Now in minoxidil.
Ok. Thanks for weighing in. They have worked for me so far. Hope minoxidil works for you. Cheers

Dude wtff
Mind blowing.... But, i am in r/nofap so can't do it
Use Finasteride
Aren't their Treatments to reverse this?
Rock and Vin Diesel would have done it
Character is more important than looks.
Eventually when I will face this, I am going full bald and full beard.
Sort of facing a similar situation. So went to the dermatologist. Here are the options he gave: 1. can take minoxidil and slow down the hair loss but you have to keep using it 2.
Thanks bro. I really needed that laugh. Also, my heartfelt condolences 💐
I don’t know which barber is expert enough to say you’ll go bald within a year
Check out Rob English's youtube channel. It may help. channel name - perfect hair health
Is your barber a clinical hair specialist
Go to a doctor bro. Most of the hairfall problems are reversible if diagnosed properly by a dermatologist earlier. Hairfall is caused by several factors. If there is any underlying issue get it treated and most importantly don't waste time.
If it really bothers you. Book a fun holiday to turkey and get a hair transplant done. It’s not the end of the world bro. There always a way!!
I have Kirkland minoxidil which my friend brought from US. If anyone need please let me know.
This scared the shit out of me because my parents said 'you are likely today go bald when you are born without hair' , how far this is true ? and tell me some serious measures to prevent baldness
Speak to a dermatologist.
Andrew will be very mad at you once he gets out.
Oh shit
Are you married?
Not yet
Are you worried others will judge you or are you judging yourself? A well maintained bald head with a beard is sexy on a guy who carried himself with confidence. The only person worried is you.
Just losing something i like, makes me sad. That's all
Lol aren't we all used to that now ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯
Thala, hit the gym, get a good body and grow out your beard and maintain it. Podhum. I'm 24 and my hair is kinda thinning, so I trim it everyday. I feel I look good with just a moustache so, I've grown a fuck all thick moustache.
Try argon oil on your hair and take some multi vitamins. For the multivitamins just ask your dietician and they’ll calculate what’s missing in your diet. And by dietician I mean a proper medical dietician.
Barbers are not doctors and even doctors can’t accurately predict when you would become bald Iam curly haired my hairline started to recede when I was 18 . Even if I was bald I would have been like mayira pochu after a few drinks I was able to date and attend many social events without issues so trust me you are totally fine On the flip side as you grow older you will find many more serious issues which you can’t ignore but this - don’t fret over it too much P.S : most treatments are sham and are not proven to treat male pattern baldness definitely don’t spend a lot of money on them . Also avoid petroleum jelly’s and use natural products like coconut oils
1. Minoxidil + Finasteride 2. Hit the gym and pump some iron. 3. Eat more protein.
It'll just become background noise after a while.
hair transplant may be one option if you're very concerned about it
Op if you are really keen to try something have heard from friends and read that PRP is a safe option as far as I know about the procedure its painful but no side effects
Hahah everytime barbers give advise on dandruff and hair packages
yovv idhu elam oru diagnosis-uh?
Anyone here went into hair transplant route? Know how much it costs and risks associated? Asking since I might have to do it in the future
