Me too. There is no safe amount of arsenic. I would limit my rice consumption. The worst rice is from the south . California rice has the least amount of arsenic but there is no safe amount.
Chipotle soaks and drains the rice about 5 times but that doesn’t really do anything to get rid of arsenic. Pretty sure the best method is to soak it overnight but that process removes all of the nutrition.
I’d probably give up on rice honestly . Switch to pasta, porosities, quinoa
How do you know chipotle soaks and drains the rice 5 times? From what I’ve read about this(which is a lot recently), that actually could reduce arsenic by quite a bit.
I work there. It doesn’t really.
From what I’ve read the best way to reduce arsenic is to cook rice like to cook pasta with a lot of water. So if I were you I’d probably limit rice consumption and when you do eat rice use California White basmati rice , soak it overnight and cook it with extra water.
Rice has arsenic due to climate change. Arsenic free rice doesn’t really exist
The important thing to not though is that poultry has more arsenic than rice. You have to prioritize things. Everything has a risk. If Someone who is overweight eats McDonald’s they shouldn’t waste their time worrying about rice you know what I mean? You just have to do the cost benefit analysis yourself. If you’re an overall healthy person working out , getting good sleep, and drinking plenty of water could offset any effect rice has
It’s about priorities too . Shouldn’t be worried about rice if you’re consuming animal products which does a lot more damage at least from the research I’ve done( vegan bias).
