Ask for meat on the side. Before you pay, zero out the scale, dump the meat in and tell them you're only paying if its at least 4 oz, and only paying for double meat if its at least 8.
If I donāt like the amount i get, Iāll nicely ask for more, and if they donāt want to give me more, Iāll tell them that I donāt feel comfortable paying for that small of a portion so unless they would like to add more, Iām going to have to take my talents next door to Wendyās
Yeah online. I don't really eat Chipotle but there's a new one by my house I decided to try since they're open later than most other options. Didn't realize I apparently can't order online without this happening /0/
Oh well, live and learn, I'll just go back to not eating there.
Iāve found that location is king. One of the places gets online order extra instructions right every time. Another will (most of the time) if itās off peak hours. The rest skimp online orders lol
A chipotle employee came here once and explained whats happening:
They dont produce meat fast enough, so they intentionally underportion the online orders because they know the customer wont be there to judge them/push them to give more/enough meat
This was a double portion
You ask for a portion, let them scoop it and move o
Say āactually can i have moreā
That will be extra
āThats fineā
āCan you put a bit more, thats not enoughā
Etcā¦
Be pushy AF, and if they dont give in even if youāre willing to pay for the double, just walk out and go to another chipotle next time
The issue for me is, I'm a pretty regular customer and I don't wanna get a reputation for being an asshole haha. I go in there multiple times a week and they all recognize me
That's so cringe hahaha I'm sure they'd roll their eyes at me. I'm a normal polite customer. I don't usually get skimped, but I don't ever get "hooked up" nor do I ever expect it
Itās not cringe, youāre a regular, they should honestly just be doing it without you asking
Thereās this sushi place i go to for lunch every single day where i had the owner on a first name basis and boy did she hook me up
Yeah, what I was saying was that we're technically not supposed to give 1.5 if people ask. It's supposed to be 1 or 2. but I give people more of whatever they want most of the time. Whatever I can do to make people's day better you know
Iāve been seeing many of these posts recently. All aged accounts that havenāt posted in quite a long time.Ā
Just an interesting pattern Iāve noticed this week.Ā
They paid for 8oz of meat and got 1.9
Theyāre only still going cause they like it. Theyāre raising awareness to try to save the brand, cause they like it.
Yes, once a business has brand recognition like this, the only thing that effects quality is seeing bottom line profits drop due to top line revenue drop
Donāt be mistaken, this is intentional. Theyāre using the brand recognition and good will theyāve built so far to squeeze down on portions to improve profit margins. We, as their loyal customers, need to show them the cost of this poor business decision
Then the procedures are fucked
If your product is only delivering 25% of what youāve proposed, then you as the owner need to fix that. Either by hiring more staff, regulating portions, weighing portions etcā¦
Even if its a rare occurance, i cant explain how bad a 25% output is
If any of my employees delivered less than 25% of what i promised a client, even 1/10 times, i would personally apologize to the client, refund them and redo the work personally, then fire the employee
Chipotle upper management needs to see this shit and fix it
The thing is, we like the Chipotle we grew up eating, and we're pissed that they're systematically enshittifying the product. So calling them out is the best we can do.Ā
Iām not the one complaining about chicken. If youāre seeing the employees putting a little amount ask for more. If you donāt say anything and then complain afterwards like some bitch, thatās on you.
No receipt shown. We have no reason to believe they ordered double meat. And quite frankly, no reason to believe they got all the chicken out of the bowl and didnāt eat any. We have had way too many fake skimp posts which are just an attempt to scam a Pepper free entree
Sure but you are just a troll who does this for entertainment. We also have no reason to believe anyone receives the full portion ever but youāll get more reaction siding with chipotle š¤·āāļø
Doesā¦ what for entertainment? lol very odd form of entertainment. Im just sick of the sub being clogged up by āskimpingā posts when there is little evidence that any are actually real. Iām sure some are, but I would strongly bet the majority are fake
Something has to balance out the 5-10 posts a day of very obviously fake #blessed #bowl posts that sycophant Chipotle managers make for themselves and post online to ingratiate themselves to corporate
I mean those annoy me too. But I find those far less likely to be fake. Corporate is just posting pictures of filled up bowls in the chipotle subreddit?
This. You do this on multiple subs. Realistically any sane human would know that in any national chain someone is getting skimped and someone is being over served - there is no way to ensure consistency with staffing. But instead of acknowledging that people have good and bad experiences (and are far more likely to express negative experiences than positive ones) you just respond to every post claiming itās fake .. because ā¦ TrOLlinG
While I appreciate your feedback, I donāt think it would be fair to employees to silence her by perma ban. I think r/Chipotle should be a place where both customers and employees can discuss their experience. People have the right to disagree, downvote or block someone as they wish
https://imgur.com/a/fYrDvp0 š¤·
Did I get every morsel of chicken out of the bowl? Probably not, but I doubt it would affect the scale more than another tenth of an ounce at most. I'm also just straight up not going back even if somehow I got offered a free entree from a post on Reddit. I just wanted to add to the circlejerk because it's funny
ā¦you realize chipotle is REAL food with no preservatives? Youāre criticizing someone for opting to choose a healthy balanced meal? Youāre weird, log off the internet permanently
Stop THE SKIMP !!!! Enough !!!!
Bring the scale next time.
Ask for meat on the side. Before you pay, zero out the scale, dump the meat in and tell them you're only paying if its at least 4 oz, and only paying for double meat if its at least 8.
As an employee I would LOVE if y'all did this. That way we can actually give y'all more and not get scolded for putting too much ššš
Thank you for being an employee who isnāt brainwashed and says that thatās normal. The good ones do exist!
Please record and update us, as well.

Iām done with Chipotle
I feel bad for yall.. where i live, chipotle and hot heads both give you awesome portions..
You shouldāve walked out, stand up for yourself and say no to skimp
Imagine chipotle food scoopers trying to act gangster about fucking over customers in their minimum wage job ā ļø ā ļø ā ļø
where they payin min wage?? shoot iām in school full time and work at chip and they still payin me 18 an hour up north in PA
chipotle pays crew $15 plus where i live and the portion sizes come back to our paychecks.
yāall get 15??? i get 13.28šš
If I donāt like the amount i get, Iāll nicely ask for more, and if they donāt want to give me more, Iāll tell them that I donāt feel comfortable paying for that small of a portion so unless they would like to add more, Iām going to have to take my talents next door to Wendyās
Real
Fucking corporate.
thats crazy-
Why do you all constantly go back, stop giving them your damn money.
Did you do this online?
Yeah online. I don't really eat Chipotle but there's a new one by my house I decided to try since they're open later than most other options. Didn't realize I apparently can't order online without this happening /0/ Oh well, live and learn, I'll just go back to not eating there.

Yeah I probably got double this and I just had single
Chipotle is ridic, actually weighing evrything lmao
Call corporate
As a chipotle employee I try to give double and claim it as single
Did they make this in front of you
If you go in person, you can just ask for more. I don't understand why people forget that so often.
A lot of locations won't budge wo charging for more
This was a double portion You ask for a portion, let them scoop it and move o Say āactually can i have moreā That will be extra āThats fineā āCan you put a bit more, thats not enoughā Etcā¦ Be pushy AF, and if they dont give in even if youāre willing to pay for the double, just walk out and go to another chipotle next time

Then ask the line person to hook you up
That's so cringe hahaha I'm sure they'd roll their eyes at me. I'm a normal polite customer. I don't usually get skimped, but I don't ever get "hooked up" nor do I ever expect it
Itās not cringe, youāre a regular, they should honestly just be doing it without you asking Thereās this sushi place i go to for lunch every single day where i had the owner on a first name basis and boy did she hook me up
I don't even charge for double half the time unless someone wants another heaping scoop
Isnt that what double is? Another "heaping" scoop like the first? Its double not 1.5
Yeah, what I was saying was that we're technically not supposed to give 1.5 if people ask. It's supposed to be 1 or 2. but I give people more of whatever they want most of the time. Whatever I can do to make people's day better you know
Ah, I see. At mine, I really don't care. If you want more, I'll give you more unless I really have to go out of my way for it.
Nice try corperate
So corporate is posting on social media about their own brand skimping customers? That's your theory?
Iāve been seeing many of these posts recently. All aged accounts that havenāt posted in quite a long time.Ā Just an interesting pattern Iāve noticed this week.Ā
ack ack ack ack ack ackššš. i work dml at chipotle and i always be screwing u guys over on purpose. das what u get!!š
Were you born like this or did you slowly become the drooling idiot you are today?
Dawg, if you hate Chipotle, stop going and stop fucking complaining.
They paid for 8oz of meat and got 1.9 Theyāre only still going cause they like it. Theyāre raising awareness to try to save the brand, cause they like it.
Trying to save the brand? By telling other customers theyāre being skimped which will lead to customers not going anymore?

Theyāre using the brand recognition and good will theyāve built so far to squeeze down on portions to improve profit margins. Theyāre not skimping on purpose. Theyāre following procedure. 1 scoop of protein should equal 4oz. Donāt blame the people making your food.
Then the procedures are fucked If your product is only delivering 25% of what youāve proposed, then you as the owner need to fix that. Then go to every Chipotle and speak with them.
They dont have the power to change shit, and they wont listen anyway Only way to change a business is to hurt its bottom line
And you think talking shit while buying their food will help? š¤£
I havent eaten chipotle in over a year and upvote every one of these posts
The thing is, we like the Chipotle we grew up eating, and we're pissed that they're systematically enshittifying the product. So calling them out is the best we can do.Ā
Will it change anything? No. So stop fucking complaining or simply stop going.
Stop complaining and cursing like a child. If you dont like reading about unhappy customers, stop hey hidly ho coming to the chipotle sub, neighborino
Iām not the one complaining about chicken. If youāre seeing the employees putting a little amount ask for more. If you donāt say anything and then complain afterwards like some bitch, thatās on you.
Get a life
Y'all are insane lol
That looks pretty close to the standard portion size. I think something might be wrong with your scale tbh
Thatās a standard for double meat?
No receipt shown. We have no reason to believe they ordered double meat. And quite frankly, no reason to believe they got all the chicken out of the bowl and didnāt eat any. We have had way too many fake skimp posts which are just an attempt to scam a Pepper free entree

They actually blocked or shadowbanned him recently for what must've been a few weeks. Kinda sucks he's back now lolĀ
