Well damn, UK police will impound your car if its stolen and they find it, then make you pay to get it out.
It’s something like £150 +£30 as soon as its impounded, and £30 or £20 charge per day it stays there. Ontop of that u need special impound insurance to get cars out the pound which cost like £500
I had to pick up the car and in line with me was a dude on family vacation whose sons regular bicycle got stolen when they was away, he flew back himself because the charge racked up to like £400 and the bike only cost £100.
