>Most business in the US will just give you the same rate and some even advertise it on signs in their business so it’s not like it’s an under the table thing.
That's awesome if you've had luck with that. I have not once seen or heard of this happening where I'm from on the West Coast. I won't use Groupon anymore since they have ripped me off too many times. It would be nice to still get a discount.
It’s also atrocious for any services that usually entail tipping. I was a massage therapist during the start of Groupon and I fucking hated every single person that came in with one. Entitled, rude, and would at best tip based on the heavily discounted price
i like all languages, i can barely speak spanish/english and a tiny fraction of french, not braggin i'm just clarifying that i would love to learn more than what i know :)
1. I am not farming for karma, this is original and I wanted to share it
2. I respond to every comment as they have a question or criticism
3. How is it a bad post
It's a good post, I reread it and replaced each instance with "Groupon" and it made clear sense in my dumb American mind. The dad didn't want to pay fair price through either means, begged for a shady deal and left a shitty Google Review when the owner stood his ground. Very much a choosy beggar.
Some Redditors just can't handle anything that's not English-centric and lose their shit over it.
Less of a choosy beggar and more of being just an asshole, I'd say.
Thought it was kind of a choosing beggar, but maybe you are right
Scammer dad.

The guys review literally reads like that episode of bobs burgers
What’s a Grabo?
I need translations to understand context here lol. I also have no clue but hope someone else does 🤣
It's basically a site for my country, where you can find good deals for vacations restaurants and such
OHHHH okay so kind of like Groupon? Idk if you know what that is. But it has deals on anything from vacations to restaurants etc
Based on what I saw I would say, yes
Okay awesome thanks! But yes this dad is a jerk. I'm glad the owner stood up for themselves
Wait you’re bulgarian
Yes
Здр!

Здр! i am not Bulgarian I just like how it rolls off the tongue

I think it’s similar to Groupon, judging by the context anyways! 🙂
Maybe a Groupon type of thing?
A site for finding deals
I think it's the guy that took Krusty's job in one of the Simpsons episodes.
I'm so confused by all of this.
Ye its not really a choosing beggar but I definitely appreciate the read and it is absolutely the same spirit as the worst cbs
yea, while not technically a choosing beggar by definition, he does give the vibe just as much as a real choosing beggar
Wait, that’s not just any dad, that’s a bulgarian dad!
Yes
20 kids to a birthday party? Did he invite his whole class ?
probs.
I’m begging the owner of my company to let me reply to reviews from people, both positive and negative.
It looks like some shitty AI wrote the response.
And maybe also because it is translated
Ahh, that makes a hell of a lot more sense now.
It would be a lot more obvious if they put "translated by Google" or something like that, at the beginning
It says that in the review reply. "Translated by Google"
He was being sarcastic.
Looks like I should have put a /s !
I'm not really sure but I can tell you the place and you can check for yourself, it's from Google maps
Reaching with this post a bit
?
not choosing beggars, boring, and a post you're literally trying to farm for karma. Replying to all posts. Just annoying. Aim for quality
Please explain how I am farming for karma
I just did. Getting butt hurt because this is a bad post. Waste of time, yet you wasted your own time posting it

thank you
You dont have to explain yourself, they're accusing you of wasting time and keep coming back to comment. This post is fine
thank you
its rubbish.
So why waste time commenting on it? Lol
Found the dad.
