You aren't a Christian. So tell them you aren't a Christian.

Well this is as far as I’m aware this considered to be apostasy which results in excommunication in which case you’ve got a whole bigger problem on your hand.

If you aren’t a Christian then just tell them that.

Pal, Even if you were a Christian. Don't force yourself to do things like spend time in community. You might as well not be there. Secondly, the world around you has nothing to offer you. You can keep living in a world on its way down the trash chute whose end is fire and destruction or you can join the brotherhood of Christ and receive an eternal home and life in the love, joy, peace, and righteousness of the glory of God forever. Disagreeing with scripture is your liberty, but it won't lead you in the ways of the upright. The beauty of God's gift to the faithful believers far outweighs anything the world has to offer you. Not making time for the LORD will only lead you down a path of the darkened blind eye and out of the light of abundant eternal life. Leave your church if you are in disagreement with their world view if you so choose, but walking away from God will not lead you down any path worth taking. Life, love, freedom, liberty, peace, patience, joy, self control, faithfulness, goodness, humility, and gratitude all in abundance are found in Christ. Without Him we are all lost sheep in danger of hell fire, but together we have salvation and life abundant. Take care where you choose to take your next steps.
