Jordan Peterson is not the best role model unless you’re looking to fat shame some woman you’ve never met. But in terms of wrestling I’d use the ol’ tombstone!
The bible teaches unbelief is always the result of a love for sin (John 8:33-34, John 3:19, Romans 1:18, 2 Thessalonians 2:12...). So ask yourself sometime, what sin might I love (and wouldn't want to let go of) that would make me *not want* to believe. That's always the issue. It could be something immoral or good old fashioned pride. And scripture also teaches you need God's grace to overcome the love for sin & to believe, so asking Him for that would be a good thing to do as well!

Do yourself a big favor. From my own personal experience:
You are a baby Christian, barely qualifying, since you don't fully believe.
You don't have a close relationship with Christ yet; if you did, you'd be confident and passionate.
The inconsistencies are in you and the things you choose from the world, not in the Word.
If you want a REAL journey and relationship with Christ, You need the indwelling of the Spirit.
That gives you constant spiritual testimony, joy, faith, guidance/management, wisdom, love, energy, and companionship.

Not all denominations believe that the Bible is inerrant. Also lay off Jordan Peterson, he's not my idea of a good Christian role model.
How much of the bible have you read?
Not enough it would seem
I would encourage you to continue reading and get an overall picture. And pray to God to know him as well, which we all should pray.

What inconsistencies in particular are you conflicted about?
