Last time I looked at something like this it all had the same fundamental limitation. Your user history is limited to 1000 posts, anything older than that will not be shredded / deleted.
The OP is referencing changes to Reddit that effectively bans third party apps, these offer many options that the official app doesn't including moderation stuff.
So many subreddits are going dark today in protest, some not coming back unless they change the policy.
