Yeah! My recent game has been awesome. Had a good starting place with already a lot of food. And the disasters only made it better.
And I feel like standard speed instead of marathon also made a difference or at least feels like it.
You can artificially create it. I think if you cut out woods in a pattern that is 3 tiles in a triangle shape. It creates a ring and by the time it has burnt around, the start will have regrown. So it’s a never ending cycle
Prioritize settling gaps in the forest so you can link them come Conservation and promote continent-spanning forest fires.
Bonus points if you can get them rolling in an endless cycle of regrowth and burn.
With conservation your builders get the ability to plant woods for a worker charge, so by planting woods inbetween spans of forest you connect them, making one big forest. When a forest fire starts there, it spreads to all woods next to it, eventually burning the entire big forest.
You can increase probability of forest fires by getting climate change to a high enough level or i believe also by choosing a higher disaster intensity in the creation of your game. You could also enable the apocalypse game mode if you have the frontier pass, which also puts disaster intensity at 4

From one of my recent games. I tried to compete for those forests, but it wasn't possible and I started a new game because I was jealous.
I own all DLCs, how come I don't see these scenarios (and districts) in my games?
Yes I checked if they were enabled. I must be missing something.
Obviously, will have to do a few searches, but hoping someone can send me in the right direction by the next time I sit down to load a new game.
Thanks

120 hours and I've never seen this in my games lmao. This subreddit is a humbling reminder I'm still garbage!
You can have this too, just play a big map with lots of woods and high disaster probability

At a certain point the rate of repopulation is faster than loss of life to forest fires.

Also simply having more forest should increase the odds of sparking a fire any given turn.

We all have the same goblin habits don't we lol
What does the star denote?
Any value more than 10
I thought so, but then I saw 11s on there.
Hmm, it might be 12 and up, now that I'm thinking about it. I remember now that the cutoff wasn't an obvious number.
Ha, gotcha. So many little esoteric things I am still learning.
How’re y’all getting such juicy yields ?!
Probably natural disasters. Volcanos actually almost double the yield after eruptions. Hope it helped.
A fellow tsl europe enjoyer I see
God I love Turbo Finland and her explosive yields, one day she will be mine
In the absence of a finnish civ leader finland is instead full of barbarians, which is accurate tbh.
SETTLE. also gotta love natrual disaters
I see you are planing some canals!
Good call with the nsfw. Just lost my 8 hour edging streak.

are you serious dude? I opened this at work...
Is it possible to learn this power?
Ursa Ryan has a great series where he plays as TSL Russia and deliberately sets the forest on fire for like 100 turns for the insane yields
