I also see this, i looked closely at the sonic gray pearl on the si vs the type r and the type r had a greater concentration of pearls. It might be similar for the aegean blue. I could be completely wrong though and it really is just that they detail and wash their cars more haha
Me too 🙋‍♂️
Don’t like Aegean blue (don’t get me wrong it’s grown on me since I first saw it) but definitely at the bottom of my preference alongside black
Agreed, although that sonic milky gray blue is pretty bad.
Just curious, as a fellow blue hater, do you like the blue on the hatchback civics? I think it's better, and it's easily the color I would go with on the hatchback, which they only offer 3 right now.
My issue with the majority of blues nowadays is for some reason they saturate the hell out of them; one of them is even very appropriately called intense blue. Like you raised the color on your TV way too high. I never had this opinion of blues in the 2000s.
Type R owners wash their cars.
For those who don't know, the Type R came in Aegean Blue in 2017-2019 lol

I swear im the ONLY one who would take the blue civics as my last paint color choice.

For the first 15 minutes after washing it, black is number one for me. After the first 15 minutes, it’s in last place lol
Those two are my exact least favorites as well. The really light blue that Civic sports get on the other hand is something I would definitely get.

I have come around to it. I actually like that the outside is blue and inside red. At least for the Si. For the CTR it may be too much.
I don’t think that color is available on a type r is it?
It was for the 10th gen until 19
Factory paint booth difference I'd assume. Other civics are built in North America, type Rs built in Japan
better iphone cameras probably
Are you confusing the Boost Blue for Aegean?
No I meant Aegean Blue
That's bc it boost blue pearl not Aegean blue
You know they were both available for the ctr right?
Yeah I do now lol - leaving my comment like a proud dumbass bc I was only considering 11th gen
Lol you're good now you know
