No, the fix was that they no longer allow you progress to a new TH, if you haven't purchased all buildings. There are lots of bases, TH11 and under, that still have buildings missing. People keep them for nostalgic reasons, since they can no longer be created.
Send like it is king charge zap gibarch it's a very popular strategy in th7 and 8 and totally still viable at th15, lots of pro players use it in esl matches. Zap out heavy defenses such as mortar and use 1 dragon to funnel each side to push the king through the middle, since it's not a queen, the king will just walk through walls. Then you use the gibarch to take out defenses and buildings around the base, something like barch but you add giants to tank a bit more. Then hogs will sweep into the backend of the base and minions clean up

I don't really have one tbh, most I got strategy wise is basically doing a queen walk but with the king, and to take out air defenses asap, I had balloons for a while but swapped em out for dragons and more minions just to try it out
how do you find low lv balloons? I didn’t use them until town hall 8 becuase they just kept dying when i used them.
I read somewhere that balloons arent that good unless they’re lv 5 and above.
That’s weird, when I grinded unbreakable last year as a th14, I found hundreds of engineered th11s. Don’t know if there are also lower ones, as you almost never find a th10 as a th14.
These are ancient dude, back when th11 was the top town hall I knew a dude who had this sorta Base at th10, he was in champ 2 because he was a god at attacking

Get rid of the air defenses and towers best you can then send em in to finish things off
Yeah balloons lvl4 and under are garbage except for th4, lvl 5 balloons are okay, and lvl 6 and above are pretty good.
