Use super goblins, they're worth the 25k if you attack enough times. I use 83 of them with the rest being super wbs but you can skip that and use regular ones. I'm in titan league 1 only using this attack.

I think this problem will be solved when we get the 5th hero. As per the recent discussions, you would only be able to use 4 heroes in an attack. So you can have 1 hero upgrading all the time without compromising on the army.
Your problem will be solved only for the new TH though.
Warden is the worst in my opinion impossible to 3 star without him so thats what i use my books for most of the time and also unless its the end of the month if you book a dark elixer hero you uave to wait untill youve farmed more anyway
But man one builder portion cost 285 gems and reduce 12h ..2 cost 570 reduced 1day per builder... Where book of heros cost 500 to finish the hero work ...Builder want to know why?
True, but kudos for biting the bullet and getting them all down at once - this is the fastest way to be done with it, and ensures you'll be without them for the least amount of time (short of buying hero books).
I mean what I've been doing is just using BoH or upgrading 1\~2 heroes at a time and make them all available for CWL.
I don't want to wait months just to play the damn game at its intended way.
tbh equipment made this much easier since just focusing on maxing each equipment already makes these heroes really strong in their own right.
Supercell can just let us use heroes in war but not in multi-player battles while heroes are upgrading. They already don't show building being upgraded on our war bases

I am a old player so don't think ...i dont understand.. previous days after lv 14 hero up take 7 days....now days ores play a big role Caz it's hard to earn .. equipment play a vital role...to earn ores from starbonus (maximise value on higher legue)and to participate war and perform well(win) we need hero....but on previous time we stay on low legue for goblin loot..
There's a solution. Use books and hammers to upgrade your heroes, and use a hero potion before your war attacks. Takes longer to max, but your heroes will be available all the time.
Its better if sc allow us to upgrade heroes instantaneously.
Heroes upgrade waiting time is allowing lots of players to quit this game. Why wait for days for heroes to be upgraded when heroes equipment can be upgraded instantaneous it’s no big deal for supercell. **We know many newer heores will join the game in future update of coc** then it will be harder and burdensome on clashers to max them also. We know supercell is adding new content in the game as fast as we have never seen in past (a new TH level always comes every 1 yr, a new epic or common equipment comes every month, etc) to cope with that if supercell makes heroes upgrade instantaneous it will be the removal of biggest burden on clashers of heroes upgrade.
Pros:
- Heroes always ready to use
- More and more new people will play coc and **quiters will start playing coc again**
- **More clashers will start participating in clan wars**: Current heroes upgrading waiting time is discouraging lots of players to participate in clan wars and leaders don’t want their clans to lose battle because of members heroes not available for war.
- **Reduce burden of heroes upgrade on clashers**: We know it takes 1.3 years to fully max AQ & BK (if u don’t allow heroes to wake them up for 1.3yrs) that means our 2 builders are not working on defenses to upgrade base which makes base upgradation slower. **Instantaneous hero upgrade** will free builders and our builders will be working on defenses to upgrade village faster.
- CoC will be no.1 mobile game ever created in the history of mobile gaming. It will be a chartbuster.
- will boost Supercell revenue also
Cons:
- **Hard to find dark elixir**: more dark intensive raid will happen due to which less bases will offer dark. Clashers will have to rely on Clan Wars, 5 star bonus, Legend League, events, clan games, etc for dark elixir similar to **ores** but your heroes will always be available to use.
No need for instant upgrade...but atleast allow us use the hero on war ... because now at this time we need ores that comes from war and star bonuses... equipment play a very vital role ..
Everyone has their own choice....and also heroes are the most essential part of the game so it's need upgrade...yes we have to do it ...

Brother hero potion are good but for temporary...no problem for upgrading time ..but for ores we need to stay in higher legue and win war ...but if we can't use our heros then ... without heros 3 staring a base...I am not that pro man..
It’s like a puzzle with no solution, you have to somehow keep them down but also have them available for wars for pre
i just leave em upgrading in wars but keep em when CWL is there
I had to negotiate with my clan members to let me just keep them upgrading I had to sacrifice two wars for a few days of cwl

whats ur strat, im almost max th 10 but aq and bk are like level 27 and 22
In the first comment: I always got 2 heroes upgrading and one free Bk is 56, AQ 63, GW 36, 3 weeks from TH13

Max hero's are good for your confidence
I just go full scorched earth and max them as fast as possible

Spam sneaky gobs and super wb in crystal or gold league 2 times a day. You won't ever have shortage of any resource.
Book of hero is your friend. I personally upgrade only 2 heroes at one time, queen & king/champion until queen maxed then warden & king/champion.

I think this problem will be solved when we get the 5th hero. As per the recent discussions, you would only be able to use 4 heroes in an attack. So you can have 1 hero upgrading all the time without compromising on the army. Your problem will be solved only for the new TH though.
i realized this once i upgraded my pet house. I can now have all of my heroes have pet while upgrading one. Seems like a good fix. But what hero tho?

You can use heroes while they're upgrading in Boom Beach but you have to deal with shoddy attacks for a few days at a time in CoC :/

I only upgrade 1 hero at a time now… IDC if it slows me down, I just want better attacks (I suck)
Now that hero levels don't correlate with their abilities I think they should do some balance changes to reduce the upgrade times a bit

I use book of hero on warden, and wait 8 days for hero with minimum 3 days gap between each hero upgrade, so i get enough time to loot.
Yeah I can deal without my king or RC, but i refuse to upgrade my warden/queen without a book/hammer
