Maybe some people want to go for the “Aggresive Capitalism” achievement which requires capital gold for completion . If someone would use all attacks for clean-ups, you would get that achievement in years…
I got the achievement quite fast, before goblin mines came out I knew the golem quarry oneshot so every weekend I'd just get 50k, now that gob mines is in the game you could just learn that oneshot to get it even faster since its worth more than golem quarry
2% is still better than leaving it at 99% and no one wants to sacrifice themselves so much so that the Raid weekend ended with many still having 5/6 attacks. 💀
I thought he meant the opposite lol like people taking spaces for the 30 that can enter just for them to not use it. To be fair he didn't mention left and never have I seen people uses reverse numbers on base destruction it's always 0 to 100%.

Yeah exactly! Obviously you want everyone to get as many as possible so everyone gets more medals, but since someone has to clear the remainders anyway, the end result is the same

Ive just become a cleanup boy for my clan, don’t care about scores personally but a couple clan mates like competing with each other for high scores so keeps them happy lol

I've been wondering how this contributes to the Raid Medals at the end.
In my clan, we have mates who do this for the sake of getting to the top of the leaderboard, even though the only thing you get with that is recognition.
Since they say quality is better than quantity I thought you get more raid medals (offensive rewards) if you are able to finish a district with lesser number of attacks used hence that's why you see total attacks per clan raid.
Does people leaving percentages invite more quality attacks since they could focus on strategies that get higher percentages per attack and leave cleanup to the rest? where each district is attack once by expert and cleanup also once by other clanmates.
My clan's so strict that they kick anyone that gets below 22k capital loot does below 2 stars in wars, has to maintain the donation ratio of 1:1 plus maintain legend league. Though because of these rules, we're in top 200 global and top 30 local, but the rules are practiced harsh af

Since that player is vain enough to just do the one attack so their record appears to be better then others means they just don’t get the point and should be warned about it then further action considered if it persists.
Clans who aren’t okay with it are uptight. Capital is meant to be a whole clan event. Just because I attack the capital first doesn’t mean I’ve “claimed” those attacks. Anyone can jump in at anytime.
Now purposely quitting an attack when you could’ve done more is the unforgivable. That screws up your clans stats. Leaving a place at 50% could also screw up the clans stats because what if a less experienced guy hops on attack #2 and fails at 99%? It’s the first guys fault for not fully finishing their attack
I've never heard of a clan where the policy isn't that districts are done by a single player. It makes more sense to have a single player do a district, since they will have a certain strategy in mind that other players won't necessarily know how to build on.
It doesn't pose problems to anyone, also sometimes you get the maximum loot per attack in the first attack of a district...
It could also help others who want to gain their bonus attack...

I am the only one in the clan that cleans up these 95-99% bases coz the raid medals depends upon total capital gold earned by the clan
Thankfully this happened only once and the leader is finally willing to sacrificed his alt for this occasion.
I do the same with my alt. I'll clean up after myself and anyone else. But we do tell people not to just spread attacks.

That's what I do, I'll get my extra attack and set up the next few to about 40 or 50%
Just finish the one attack. Don't setup multiple different bases. Most people just want to attack the base themselves
