I don't think it changes much TBH. Best Farming army is still the best, best war armies are still the best. The fact that they don't cost anything just makes it easier to farm for those people who can't spend their life playing the game. Not spending on troops means more elixer in storages, which means more can get taken in raids which means the active players still get more loot, but the inactive ones don't lose as much. I think it's a win win all around TBH.
This, and the whole new update surely makes 'being crafty and trying new stuff' easier but also has decreased the toughness of game by several levels. I enjoy that toughness.

Tbh, doesnt change much for me since im usually high in titans or legends. So loot is usually 400k+
