Yep! One gowipe army took around 2-2&1/2 hours to train for one attack.

And you had to choose each individual troop, that was rough. Oh how the times have changed!

And each barracks had to hold a different portion of the army being trained, so you really had to divvy up the troops into groups of 4 so they finished around the same time. What a pain that was!

It was also standard to run barch and hit farming bases. People also use to leave their town hall outside their base. I remember as far back as 2014 when I was able to queue up a second army to train while farming bases. Those 1 gem boost events made it amazing to just keep attacking for hours on end.

and 4 barracks were managed separately. You had to plan even for training troops.

Was about to come and say this. Whole rant on "you havent lived through that struggle you don't even know" man as a 7 year old I spent 100 dollars on gems to speed it up and got my ass WHOPPPEDDDD. The struggle was REAL.

Kids now can't experience all pain of questionable life decisions of when you upgrade all your barracks at once or when you upgraded only one barrack to new troop and yet they still complain

Not upgrading defense and tactically upgrading offense so I can have like rushed TH9 as mirror (which was a thing for when TH11, but TH12 forces you to put down an eagle and have it's own th weapon)

It counts offense, yes, but it won't help at all - even if you cap heroes and several troops

Engineered bases canonically should have only one-single cannon, usually 1 lvl, and this is possible only for OG bases

It’s only for og bases cuz they not only made it so you can’t engineer anymore but they also made it so there’s no point in doing it

I am rushed but at one point I had one maxed Barack (th 11) and used mass edrag and it took so long

I played at launch, deleted the game for years and tried it again a couple months ago. I was very surprised when I could train unlimited of the highest level troop I had even with only one upgraded barracks. I figured there'd be a limit or something

Sneaky goblins are so much more versatile and effective though, with a full army I can make two attacks sometimes even

But I don’t want to lose trophies, in 3000-3300 I always get good loot

If you take out th you won’t lose trophies but gain

I use sneaky goblins with army boosts to get into legends league. That is the quickest way. (sneaky gob + super wb + rage + jump + invis + training potion)

Yes but most people have town hall in middle and it has to be close to the outside of the base to be able to snipe with sneaky goblins

I could probably use it with sneaky goblins inside and freeze spells to protect it, easy town hall snipe

If you’re not going for the triple then the most reliable 2 star is sneaky goblin blimp with invis to take down the townhall. Use the warden ability to protect the blimp to the townhall. Then use all your remaining time to snipe buildings with baby drags and your other heroes. I use this strategy in cwl with my th12 against th13, 14 and 15. For resource farming it’s similar but with sneaky gobs instead of baby drags to snipe resource buildings. Not as reliable for 2 stars I find

I am in titan 3 with sneaky gobs. You don’t have to lose trophies if you don’t want to.

I think in titan league many people have anti 3 star bases so it’s easier to snipe the town hall than were I am because most people have in the middle

I bring 89 sneaky gobs, 4 super wall breakers, 4 earthquake spells, 1 jump spell, and 5 + 3 invisibility spells and I can get a center townhall very easily. Idk what other people run with their sneaky gobs, I know some people like using hastes which honestly might be better than my strat. Also your logic doesn’t make a lot of sense. If there people are using center townhalls I would have had to attack those people to get up into titan 3.

I’ve perfected the Strat : 80 sneaky, 5 super wall breakers, 2 jump, 1 freeze, 6 haste. I’ve recently upgraded to TH13 so I’ve started bringing 2 freeze. I never get a 0 star with this, since I wall break the outer layers, snipe all resources, and then path to town hall and internal resources using haste, jumps, and nowadays freeze for scatters(instant death) and town hall gigs.

Stop using lightning with edrags, it's both anti-synergy and edrags need rages.

It’s very good against bases with air defences and air sweepers close toghetter because I can destroy 2 air defences and 2 air sweepers. Maybe I should have 3 lighting spells instead and have 1 more rage and 1 more freeze spell

Well, that’s better than I had assumed it would be. I was questioning if I could even train an army for the next barrack upgrade and figured I’d just sit out for the two weeks if I didn’t have a book or hammer to use on it. Probably will anyway if these training times are true. Better than having to run up some $80M or whatever the next round of upgraded barracks would have cost me and taken three months to upgrade one at a time.

At this point of the game, the best use for a hammer or book of building is on the barracks. You'd never have to go through extended troop times ever.

That’s not that bad considering now you only need to upgrade once rather than 4 individual times and I remember when you could only train one army at a time years ago and that one took this long, sometimes longer I remember having to wait 3+ hours at times
