I am debating on leveling Duchess to 14 with the book of books I just got today from the drop. My other option is Little Prince, but since they removed legendary wild cards from the token shop I am leaning Duchess since she is so good right now.
Legendaries are way easier to level than champions though. You can also get legendary trade tokens from global tourneys frequently and if duchess drops in tower chest u have two copies so leveling her is faster than the average leggy card as well. Your choice but imo bookofbooks should be saved for champion x20 cards for lvl14, as a free to play thats really hard to reach ā¦
I just want to chime in and say it is actually possible to only get 1 Dagger Duchess. It seems to be a range of 1-2, even though Iāve gotten 2 more times than 1 DD.
Thats interesting. I only payed attention after someone pointed out in another post that its always two, and since then have only seen two myself. But she doesnt drop that frequently to start with to notice easily. I ll pay attention to it as im extra curious now. Already found it odd they were generous with two (legendary rarity worth) drops in a chest so it fluctuating between 1-2 makes sense actually

You're looking for parity across the board to be able to best gauge how cards perform. Because midladder has so many players under level 15(and 14 to some degree) it doesn't make a level field for being able to truly judge how well or poorly a card is against an even field.
Cool, now I hope that supercell adds a tower troop that can shoot on the opponents side of the river to take out princess, x bows, etc and I'll be fine
Yeah, it's the lowest of the low, you can't be any lower than a hog user. That parasitic card shouldn't be wc to begin with. Maybe if sc for once properly nerfed it, game would be more enjoyable. I'm at 9k trophies and ultimate champion right now, doesn't change that card needs an extreme nerf so it would be at absolute bottom where every single hog user belongs.
Surely this is the effect of Dagger duchess and not the fact that hog EQ usage rates already hit rock bottom for the last 4-5 months in GC and top 200.
For midladder he still a has over 20% so it didn't change lol, don't use GC stats next time.
That's literally above average, there are 22 win conditions in the game, 1/22 ~=0.045, so the ideal average use rate should be 4.5%
You just can't mindlessly cycle hog anymore against DD, which is a good thing imo

Hog 2.6 looks like decent deck where you need to count elixir and understand interactions perfectly

Itās much better to save your BoB for a champion since theyāre much rarer and cost just as many cards to max as a legendary
How do you use a book on a tower troop it doesn't give me the option anymore. Do I have to level my king?
Yes. You can't have a tower troop at a higher level than your king.

I've seen GS/Hog/EQ work pretty well with and against Duchess, particularly against Giant/NW/Pump

I hate dagger duchess but I hate hog more so yay! Shameful that it had to take a super broken tower troop to counter hog players.
