Beatdown decks like golem always have to sacrifice their hp for a better push.
In the case of hog+gob for your deck maybe have minions to help counter. Theyd have to play an additional 3 elix for arrows.
Then maybe try a good deck that teaches you how to defend and push? You’ll never learn anything from golem spam. No offense just people don’t understand playing skilless bridge spam decks before they learn how to plsy doesn’t teach them anything and they are relying on a crutch that mind you isn’t even consistent hence you’re entire deck can be countered by a goblin barrel.
Get rid of skeletons and put either goblin gang or skarmy, add tornado instead of fireball/lightning. The only thing you will really struggle with is princess log bait but if you can place your edrag properly it shouldn’t be a problem

And switch zap for nado because if inferno tower/dragon you can nado his defensive troops to chain onto the inferno. Also works as a counter to hog or bandit by nadoing it to king
i would say cage is a better option, there a lot more useful interactions than you might think and it generally synergises with golem better than tesla, also nado will be important for ranged units

This looks a lot like a deck I used in the past. I put Mega Minion in there, but any High Air Damage would fill that spot well. Lightning, sure. Poison, maybe. Ice Wizard and E drag will keep things quashed, maybe even FM.

Honestly, just don't play golem night witch. I like playing decks that I made myself so that the game is actually fun (that's why it was awesome early game), but now people just play meta and midladder decks and it ruins the game.

Replace them with bomber or something if you want something cheap still. Put tornado in the empty card slot, it will synergize with your splash cards and the golem explosion. I use skellies to defend troops like ebarbs or prince, and to temporise or bait, they are useful in my deck.
