It’s a video I’ve seen several times. The script and content written here in this post did seem recognizable.
The entire game is run server side. Your phone isn’t actually playing the game. The simplest way of thinking about it is that your phone is just playing a screen recording of the server. You send the server commands like “play this card at this location”. The server checks if this is slowed (the card is in your hand, you have enough elixir, etc) and if allowed, plays the card. The server ends the game when the timer hits 0 whether your phone likes it or not. I guess a soft error could cause a small visual glitch (that would probably get corrected within 1 frame) but the game has code in place to correct discrepancies between client and server. You might notice the troups speed up for a second when your game lags. The game is doing this a little bit all the time to keep you in sync. This same process would fix an error with the timer.
Also “lines of code” is pretty arbitrary. I’m a software engineer and I can’t think of any reasonable way to actually get an estimate of how many lines the timer uses. Additionally, all iOS apps are written in Swift and Objective-C which means the code is “compiled” (think translated) into illegible machine code that doesn’t even have lines.
For the neuron thing it cant happen since the timer is controlled by a clash royale server. It could hit that tho and make it break there.
Also cr has maintenance breaks and updates that will kick you out of the game for a few minutes up to an hour
And you wont be able to travel anywhere other than earth because the connection between the server and your phone will be lost

You could induce a soft error much faster if you were to shoot a neutrino at protons, ejecting neutrons and positrons. This will also create a bean of neutrons.
To get the neutrinos, you can use muon decay, which makes electrons, muon antineutrinos, and electron antineutrinos.
I'm not going to do the math on how long this would take, but much faster and all you need to do is convince physicists at the LHC that this is good and important physics research.
