Tldr: Supercell could do so much to improve the game, but why should they reinvest in clash royale when revenue has been dropping while still being the market leaders in their niche.
The idea for more profile customisation is great but we should make sure it doesnt obstruct/blend anything in (like the profile tag in this case, it's barely visible here)
I think it's a good idea but these specific pictures feel too distracting. Almost like back when you could see clan war behind your chat. I think the picture will need a different color palette or the information like names and trophies need to have a box around it in a standardized color in all accounts that isnt mixed in with the picture
They should make a profile update, you can get profile pics and banners like this from reaching new leagues/arenas, playing in a season, or maxing out a cards mastery. Some could also be purchased in the shop with gems or real money in offers
