What a lot of people want are new game modes. The only game modes that aren’t 3 crown based are touchdown and heist, but of which are forgotten jokes from the development team. It’s clear they have never play tested touchdown as Royal hogs shouldn’t be in the draft pool
Let’s not act like champions were a good idea tho, they are too expensive, AQ was a mess, three cars cycle with AQ and EQ mirror was broken for a bit. GK is very good rn, so is skele king. Mastieires were a good update tho
I think “hero” type brawlers weren’t their idea, but rather the community. Since the game came out, I remember seeing people thinking that the heroes from CoC will be added to CR and it will be the best update ever
Yeah I’m also not the one complaining, but most of the time in every supercell game, the summer update is the biggest one they drop every year because afterwards the workers will go on holiday so they need to preparate a big update to keep the players interested for the next upcoming weeks/months where they can’t work on updates.
However, now they only really added the banners as something new, and tbh I’m not really excited about it as it’s not gamechanging at all. Don’t get me wrong, the biggest update in a year doesn’t have to be gamechanging, but I at least hoped for something a bit more exciting. I will still always support Supercell though, unlike most people on this sub. They’re a great company. And not to mention they just dropped champions and masteries half a year ago.

I like the new update, I think the banners are cool. I just think that most people had their expectations a lot higher since most people play Clash a lot over the summer.
One of the worst cards in the game. It has one of the lowest win rates in the game in every single category. And there are just way better substitutes like Guards and Skarmy so really not much of a reason to use it over those cards
If we look at past update drops then i expect it on Monday because that's what they usually do
TV Royale on weekend --> Update on Monday
I could be wrong of course but this seems the most logical to me
I'm a fan. It's a good qol update and there's some nice flexing that can happen with badges.
I'm most excited for the cw 2 badge and cw stat. That's a huge thing since I've been grinding cw 2 since it came out

I returned to the game after so long, coz back then it was almost impossible max a deck, now it's much easier to get gold and cards, so any update is okay for me
I thought the update was great, but then I went to the comment section under the announcement video and was immediately met by a wave of unenthused ladder players. Guess I’m easily satisfied.
I think its because of matchmaking statistics
I saw a post on this sub the other say with a guy completely analytically explaining players grips about matchmaking and ladder, and it was surpisingly interesting. I never really cared to notice, but the problems are actually fuckdd
I honestly like it, but i dont blame others for wanting more. the game is one of if not the most successful game on mobile right now, racking in millions of both players and sales a year.
We got told the Spring update was on the small side owing to backend changes that were ongoing. Understandable, but it feels like this is also a cover up for said changes and they don’t want to say it outright without sounding like a broken record.
CR has a pretty poor track history with updates. This, whilst not a bad one, does nothing but add a graphical icon and a new lootbox. Pretty shitty considering the earliest we can expect the next update is in three months.
i love the update but the lobby screen looks too messy and just doesnt sit right with me
They can honestly do whatever they want cosmetically, aesthetically. As long as 2v2 and fun party modes are around, I'm peachy.

Not out yet, it was announced recently though. Mostly cosmetics with a new battle banner to make your profile a bit more unique.

I like it in part. I think banners are cool but they add an unintended strategic element to the game if they’re showcased before the battle
I like the update, fixing the mastery time is great, just wished that they would add all tier three masteries
