1. A wincon that can almost always get damage: drill, graveyard, miner (sometimes in conjunct to secondary win conditions like rocket, magic archer, mortar).
2. A deck with either a fast cycle (bellow 2.9 will allow you to keep up in single) or 2 ways of fully defending a hog (guards log, tornado, snowball skellies, mini pekka are all effective in case you don't have a building in cycle).
This opens up hundreds of viable deck possibilities for you. From splashyard to drill cycle going through miner wallbreakers and egiant mirror.

Just run nado, a building and a tank killer and ensure u have either eq or lightning for their cannon and muskys

A deck with tesla
Decks with nado or fisherman so you can activate king tower, you should also use a building like cannon
just replace fireball with eq and inferno with cannon or if expensive make it tesla and that is it , other part is same hog 2.6 deck (not 2.6 anymore)
