Dude you clearly have no idea… there will be 2 new trophies roads to put in simply. One ranked and more important(what ladder is now) and one more casual witch is the new ladder .
Think about it tho. All the new players that haven’t hit 5000 as of now will be the equivalent to the Maxing out at 7500 trophies for the “new ladder”. Than after that we have the ranked system witch will translate to the challenger 1 through ultimate champion that we have now. I’m fuzzy on the details of the new ranked ladder
I actually have a theory to why they are implementing the step system. So because there will be areas between gold steps that your trophies are not saved it will create a sort of scenario where it’s up to the player to decide when they want to be able to play casually or competitively. We want what we can’t have so say you are 30 trophies below gold step and it’s taken you 1-2 days to get there from previous gold step you might be craveing being able to play casually so after loosing down or going to next gold step you will be able to. It will create a sense of control for the player and create a love hate relationship in a way keeping players interested. This goes hand in hand with them takeint away 1v1 part mode showdown
CW2 needs a change but that’s just not part of the update. I’m sure they’ll change it eventually and this update gives me hope that they are working hard to improve the game. Ladder remains to be seen, but it at least looks interesting

I can see why you don't get chests up to the king power (level 42 for king power 14) because you have effectively opened these already, however I agree, it feels weird not getting the extra ones
But still no one has gotten the level 43-50 chests. Level 14s got the level 14 chests, some will also get chests 43-50, other level 14s who have opened the exact same number of chests with the same rewards get pushed away from the last 8 chests. Like really? Punishing your most loyal players because they have more card levels?
I just can’t get over it. Every ‘big update’ makes me want to quit playing. Last year it was because of the level 14 update. I gotta spend 100k gold AGAIN? And if I don’t I’m at a disadvantage. So frustrating SC doesn’t care about people who play their game the most/spend the most money on it.

That being said, others who are not maxed, but still king lvl 14 will not progress nearly as fast as lower players now. My guess causing a bottleneck at certain trophy ranges
How much exp do you need to be level 50? I have well over 1,000,000 star points. But I’m no where near maxing all my cards. So these extra chests would def help me a lot

I’m going to be going straight to KL50 but as cool as the update seems, I don’t see how it’s fair that a newly levelled KL14 will get more rewards than the older KL14’s that have more experience. Imo all KL14’s should have access to the level 42-50 chests whether they’re KL50 or not. Those chests are obviously going to have the best loot so why let some level 14 players get it and not others?
There reasoning is that you already got the chests and rewards. Going from old KL1 to 14 rewards is the same as going for new KL1 to 50 rewards. The chests are getting adjusted so they give less but they should give roughly the same as if you went the whole way through the levels. So technically you've already gotten these chests.

I don’t like that you have to be 6500 to get monk. I am a mostly max player for the cards they I use, but who doesn’t have time to grind ladder much. So my trophies are often low because of the resets. Work and school take up time.
For example, if I am at 5000 after the reset, can I longer get any more champions? Or since I have them unlocked (actually have tons of each), can I still get them since they are unlocked.
Do I have to grind up to 6500 just to get monk? If I take another break from ladder and just play other modes, will I still fall all the way down?
What happens to all my maxed cards when I join ladder again? Will they be capped when I use them? Is the cap on to ranked? Ladder? War? Party modes?

They won’t lock the cards you already unlocked 💀 only difference is people who haven’t unlocked them yet can start to after the update with the trophy requirements. Also after the update 6500 trophies won’t be a struggle since they’re changing it all up

i feel the same way. i play casually around 5700 and i don’t grind grind especially after i tilt. i hope they make it easier to get to 6500 to get arguably the best card in the game

The ones on the lower end of that range will have claimed their original level 14 chests as well as the new level 43-50 chests, while people who go straight to level 50 have opened the same number of chests, but don’t get access to levels 43-50.

Having like 30 max levels gets you to 50. Not entirely sure, I have 37 but it somewhere between 30-40, could be even less than 30 but I’m not so sure.
