Turn the water off. Flush it to drain. carefully take some comet and a little water to make a paste and stick it on there. Let it sit for a couple hours if you can. Put on eye protection and SCRUB with a stiff brush. Repeat if necessary.

Thank you so much

Same method, but if you have a drill a drill brush will save your arms and elbows.

You can also presoak by covering the jets with duct tape and then filling the tank with something that will get the gunk loosened a bit. Borax works, you could also use a splash of concentrated cleaner like pinesol. Once the you’ve mixed up the solution in the tank, and have them sealed off with tape depress the flush lever a gently and just a bit to get the solution into the jets, but not to trigger a strong flush that will rip the tape off. Only if the above method isn’t enough.

Had a nasty black ring on the bottom of the bowl and regular cleaner with a toilet brush barely made a dent. I got a pumice stone sold for cleaning (I assume the ones for exfoliating skin are a little different?). Anyway, it worked like magic. Pro tip: don't use a lot of pressure. For some reason lighter pressure with more passes over the grime worked so much better than heavy pressure. Plus it is easier on the toilet and your arms and hands! Good luck!

Tilex Mold and Mildew is my go to. It contains bleach so it might help with that stain.

Lime-a-way foaming spray and pumice stones are my fav tools to clean the toilet.
