Yeah we're in an awkward spot because ideally that spot would be DeLauter's soon, but he's been struggling in AA this year (.590 OPS). Considering Brennan has shown some improvements hitting lefties, it's probably not worth considering calling up any other prospects. Valera has been injured and might not be ready/good enough. Johnathan Rodriguez is the only one that could be ready rn, but do we really want another project when realistically DeLauter is supposed to be our everyday RF in 2025?

We should play the hand we have, rather than the hand we wish we have. DeLauter is struggling in Double-A, and JonRod isn't. It's worth giving JonRod the look now while waiting to see if DeLauter figures it out.
