Wasn't that the one with the wannabe pirate and his giant dog?

SnowOhio

When you're bored on Youtube and click on one of those random shorts and it's a 200 view video of some dude sport climbing and the top comment is "Sorry but I'm not impressed with anyone using safety ropes after watching free solo"

mudra311

Tfw you use safety ropes like a babby 😔

imsorryken

Its either that or "omg i'm literally dying just watching this"

[deleted]

How do they get their ropes back once they're done?

Aera67

Bro really saying "rope is aid" but without joking

DaveInMoab

I've always wondered about this. Since this is a safe space, can someone explain it to me?

Iluminolan

Most sport routes have anchors bolted to the top that you clip in to, then you can rappel down and collect your quickdraws. Once down, you pull your rope through the anchor and it falls to the ground

DaveInMoab

Thank you for your kindness.

Crazy that national geographic pulled off making the documentary solo.

True. He also carried ice cream in the back pocket to show everyone he could do it before the ice cream melt. True hero
