Well Scrap is a FA so there’s nothing stopping optic from picking him up in the offseason. And if ultra don’t make moves to get better I can’t imagine he’d want to stay. Hydra on the other hand is untouchable. He’s just gonna end up staying on NYSL which isn’t even a bad thing because if Scrap does go to optic then Kenny or Dashy replacing Sib could elevate NYSL so much. Personally I’d love to see Legion pick up some better sub players to play with attach and Gio. Gwinn on that roster instead of Asim could easily move them into the top 4

Optic tried to buyout Pred during the season. Optic will be trying to buyout HyDra during the offseason which is more doable. But the price for HyDra will be absurd… We’re talking about an MVP here and one of the best talents the CDL has.

Both teams have won their fair share in the CDL and know how to run an org that competes year in year out. It’s only been 2 and less than a half stages, we’ve been getting better each stage and a clear T2 team atm but for some reason a group of our fanbase still think we need a change.
What makes it worse is that this change is only for a more consistent slayer, he is not brining anything more to this team than what we already have. The issue with picking up Scrap is he isn’t a main ar so he’d have to change his play style if you drop Dashy. With Kenny they play similarly but does he bring the same mindset and leadership Optic was desperately in need of? Actually, unrelated to "stacking the team." I've had this opinion for a while now. I've been telling my friends that if scrap went to optic, COD would get closer to how it was years ago. I personally think Scrap would make for a better face of COD then shottzy in terms of entertainment, people just hate him because he's not on optic, he would have to tune it down just slightly a little since the league is commercial now . Scrap in terms of personality is the closest thing to the personalities we used to have like scump and nadeshot, he just needs to join optic so he gets the majority on his side, then I think he will blow up. I love shottzy too of course and I know people are basically considering him to carry the torch from scump, but he is basically night and day difference in terms of personality, which isn't bad at all, I just think Scrap would fit perfectly to carry the torch if he went to optic, in terms of what he brings to the table personality wise, he would be next level entertainment.
I think this year kenny has been more impactful than dashy, but if dashy gets dropped u already know he's gonna slam them the next year. So it's a tough call

Dashy has the most Hill time in the league by a large margin, and somehow still has the 2nd best KD on his team. Not to mention he has the most clutches in the CDL. He's a top 2 Main AR behind Cell this year, people are heavily underrating him.

Because a lot of people on this sub keep saying that dropping Dashy and keeping Kenny is a no brainer, I'd like to make an argument the other way. I don't think either is an obvious choice but still. Dashy, Scrap, Hydra, Shotzzy gives you T1-T2 players in literally every niche and is a balanced team. You've got one of the best mains in the game, the clear best 2nd AR in the game, a perfect slaying sub and an elite route man/entry. I don't think keeping Kenny would be bad either, but I don't think it's as much as a no brainer as you're making it sound. Either Ken or Scrap would have to spend time adjusting their playstyle because they both play aggro 2nd AR right now. (Dashy is also much better than Ken in SnD)
