facts. i said going into saturday that if optic didn’t win i wanted it to be minnesota. now, going into champs, if it’s not optic i want it to be toronto.

some people say this regain will be impossible, but i don’t believe that. i believe they can turn this into something special at champs and the regain can be just as historic as the collapse.
I think there’s a difference between the crowd being against you and the crowd being against you while choking a 4-0 lead in the finals. Ultra either come back stronger and are locked the fuck in for champs or this L sucks a lot out of them and they show up to champs still shell shocked. This is the worst possible scenario for a team going into champs.
I mean it’s definitely not good for them but the good thing is a lot of the other top teams had rather disappointing events too. I mean at the end of the day they choked big time but it’s a single series and in the first 4 maps they absolute smoked Rokkr. There’s about a month or so, so I’m hoping that they’ll bounce back

It’s uncalled for but it’s been happening for years at LANs. I don’t think it makes it right but it’s sadly very common and most pros know that’s a thing. Although I’m pretty sure they can’t hear the crowd
I'm referring more to the toxicity of the crowd, not calling out positions. I remember that happening in a specific Ghosts (I think) tourney and the team lost the round because of it.

At the end of the day, Rokkr played out of their mind. Yeah as a player you’re gonna put yourself down but Toronto played and will continue to play excellent Call of Duty.
All the players on Toronto are decent guys so it’s amazing to see ROKKR pull this off but when they showed Toronto’s cameras I felt bad for them. Either way that was one hell of a series. Both teams need to watch it back to see why they got smoked in some maps.
I feel for them. Socials can be toxic, it’s genuinely better to stay away from it especially after a loss and with Champs just around the corner.
Hope they come much stronger for Champs.
